what to do when a close friend starts acting weird and distant after nothing happened and how to deal with it? a close friend has been moving very weird and idk what i did to upset her and its KILLING me
Has anything happened recently in ur friend group or in her life?
And is this behaviour directed specifically at u or is it more general?
its VERY personal to me im the only one shes straight up ignoring
no
not that shes told me anyways
this a personal take this aint no hot take
theres no advice channel
ignore her back, girls love that
Terrible advice
Have u tried asking around? Other than that id suggest just approaching her straight up
If u come to her with the goal of resolving things and SHES unwilling, then its no longer ur problem. Leave it be
If shes a real friend then shell be honest with u and u guys can probably just talk it out
W advice bro
Well ask her
If she dont reply then idk
Its a shame common sense really isnt so common ¯_(ツ)_/¯
girls dont follow common sense
Guess im a dude then m8
Immature people dont follow common sense. Ive met plenty of dudes who act extremely catty
Maybe its some fake gossip that reached her ears, it happened to me b4
yeah thats right
Its not that easy because nothing happened she just completely switched up from nowhere
shes non confrontational if i ask her what’s going on she will say its nothing
i know how she is its not catty or immature im js confused asf
Still hurts to let a close friend go from seemingly nothing
U have to pick ur battles then. Once again if shes unwilling to talk when u approach her sincerely, wanting to figure out whats wrong, theres not much u can do.
U can try pleading, telling her things that u think might make her more comfortable talking to u
But at that point its her line in the sand.
I used to have a friend who stopped putting effort in. Who because impossible to talk to because she just wouldnt say anything. I tried and pleaded and carried the friendship for a long time. Needless to say were not friends anymore
I hope that kind of thing doesnt happen to u. I hope u both can work it out. But talking to someone honestly the most basic part of friendship. If it matters that much, maybe try asking around and see if u can gather anything from her other friends.
Can someone tell me how to make friends?
just talk to people with shared interest or the same vibe as u
true
how to find them?
Finding such person is impossible to me
Just yapp and if they yapp back, y'all are friends
I did the same to a close friend after I heard her talking shit about me behind my back. I tried to act normal, but things just felt off, so I slowly distanced myself instead of confronting her because I knew she’d deny it. We later talked about it, she apologized, but I could never see her the same again. We’re still friends, just not as close anymore.
You might have hurt her indirectly or she just wants to distance herself w stuff going on in her life
Go outside
Well until uve tried to resolve it and failed then u dont know for sure if that pain is gonna stick around
And if it does then itll get easier over time. Other people, better friends will fill ur cup instead
Also, if u try and try to fix things but she doesnt want to, then its not ur fault. U have no reason to feel guilty and at that point, it says more about her character than urs. Thats just the way she is. It has nothing to do with u.
Worry about what u can do in this situation. Other than that, let it be. Itll fade on its own.
