It depends on the people you talk with. But it usually ends up with one of them getting ghosted. So.... making online friends isn't a easy of cake cause people are unpredictable. So if you're lucky enough then,BINGO!! you'll hit the motherlode and may get a good friend.
Back in the day, friends were so easy to make but now its like everything is all AI or Bots
I would still say irl friends are the best cause they show you their real nature, hiding their true form isn't easy irl but it is easy online.
And also people want to get noticed online so they try every methods they could to get attention.

The Chatrooms you mostly just interact with people but you lowkey have to ask people to be friends with them which is normal af but too many people be interrupting the chat all the time so its like i prefer to have less chats at least and not constant spams
Honestly, I get what you mean. I think making friends is easy when both people genuinely want to build a friendship. You can't really force that kind of connection.
And yeah, I can see why you'd prefer one-on-one conversations. Group chats can be fun, but they get chaotic really fast 😅. Sometimes you're having a good conversation and then ten other people jump in and the whole topic disappears.
I actually prefer getting to know people properly rather than constantly hopping between different chats. Quality over quantity, you know? 🙂
