I find that the way the author is making the story since wano is making the manga worse. And zoro sucks

The fact that Luffy is broken. The way we are developping the characters is getting less and less interesting. In the end we end up liking more the secondary characters than the strawhat crew (exemple of Xebec , harald , loki . ..)
Luffy isnt broken…? I mean we’re at elbaf and hes a yonko, towards the end of the story, so he NEEDS to be able to keep up with the other emperors and Imu aswell. Gear 5 has its own limitations and a time limit, so yea he isnt broken.
And personally i love the character developments. Its not a bad thing to like secondary characters, and it could feel that way to u that u like secondary characters more than strawhat because the manga has been emphasising on the secondary characters at the moment. So its more of a psychological reason imo…
And tbh its a subjective opinion so u might like something i might not like n visa versa

Entire show's beginning message was 'Freedom, break the shackles slapped on you, Make your own fate' and now we see Luffy being the chosen one and trying to make Zoro a genetics kinda character.

Before all the characters were just people with dreams , and they were making their own destiny ! Now it tends to become the clash of the chosen ones when it was not before.

The problem for me with zoro is that his only meaning is to become stronger and follow his captain. When in the early part of OP zoro was weaker, we could have empathy for him, cause he was "human" . Now zoro is just the basic archetype of not interesting characters, he doesn't make any interesting decisions/choice , all his moments are kinda the same "I will never loose again cause i promised it to myself" , "I will fight until i become the strongest one". Where a character like SANJI / NAMI / SOGEKING are way more interesting. Especially Sanji who is the left wing of Luffy , he tends to be just a bit less strong than Zoro, but his fights and moments are way more interesting (i hate when he simps btw), sanji feels more human , more real.
And this is kinda the same with luffy, earlier he was kinda weak, so he had to train to become stronger , he constantly lost fights before coming back and wining cause of his will power. Now luffy doesn't really make choice anymore, he is just kinda following his destiny without even knowing . Robin is the only character really "knowing" stuff where all the others seems to be following her , and this is sad.
It feels even more worse when we have flashbacks of roger or xebec. We aknowledge that they were investigating , they were smart , they were doing it on purpose, where luffy just seems to be going from island to island randomly
