Ive noticed that anytime id hugged my friends or anything back in high school a lot of people would look at us weird, ask if I'm gay and just be all weird about it. Idk if it's common or not but I feel like a fair amount of this gen doesn't see hugs as something normal when it should be something completely normal to do even outside an intimite relationship

I wasn't saying that it's not normal, just that from what I've personally witnessed a lot of people consider it a little odd to do it maybe just in a public setting but still. I believe it is a normal thing but from others reactions it seemed they thought differently

Even hugging your guy friend as a guy shouldn't be that weird tbh. Sometimes they need it yknow? The only times I'd shake hands is if I'm just meeting someone and stuff. Granted this is just me and my opinion so 😅
