Pop music killed rock in the 2000 and now is killing Rap big industry artists are to blame

Pop basically kill it as a mainstream force once streaming and radio started prioritizing catchy algorithm friendly pop songs everything got pushed toward the same formula rock lost its place because it doesn’t fit short viral formats and rap got absorbed into pop structures to stay relevant so even if the genres still exist pop dominated the industry and reshaped everything into its sound and rules it feels over polished, repetitive, and made for charts instead of real expression
