Living with parents is definitely worth it depending if they dont ask to help for rent in the house (unless the parents nags alot and gets concern abt your well being which prolly would convince me to leave but parents are parents they do care a lot to their own kids and its normal)
As for Roommates
It's a lot of responsibilities to have roommates and stuff gotta know what bills to pay (split pay on rent, utilities, food & water etc) and other bills/debt you or roommates have in order to maintain a spot to live at

Tbh living with roommates might be better but not with parents, I mean most ppl will outgrow the house so need more space to themselves by that age
