Howdy!
I'm David, 16 years old from Poland, deeply related to Norway.
I started my programming journey when I was 8, I saw Python in action and thought wow, that kicks! then did a few projects in PyGame.
During this time I concentrated on game development, mainly in GameMaker Studio 2, finally leaving this plot because it was too boring for me.
That's why I chose web development for some time. Learning React was cool but... Nah man that's too boring and the market already has a lot of web developers. Because I want to have a quite stable seat in IT i tried two different routes.
First I considered mobile development. To see how it works I chose Flutter because it had a lot of easy tutorials and it's fortunately not dead. I did a few smaller projects and a clicker game with meta-progression mechanics. The journey was quite cool.
Then I tried software development. I'm still stuck on it to this day. Now making a WPF app in C#, planning to extend my knowledge with Java.
I know it's a lot and you may say man you don't learn anything when you change your objective all the time and that's true but as I'm young I want to try everything and then decide what suits me best!
My current objective:
- Master the basics of WPF (and MVVM development)
Straight ahead:
⚠️ Saying hi to Java
⚠️ Learning about cloud computing
I have a few projects, if you'd like to participate - collaborate via GitHub or DM me!
Insightful [50%] - a WPF app working as a global HUD showing information about currently active window
PiClicker [50%] - a Flutter-based mobile game with meta-progression
Manualist [25%] - a React-based web app for user manual AI assistance
+ A few private projects
Uhhh I know I should talk to nerds on tech servers but let me try to dive in here !
Take love and care!
Until next time!
