A soul incarnated with the motive and will to serve the collective through various means. A lightworker is closer connected to the higher realms and is less identified and drawn to the lower states of consciousness. Because of this, the individual is naturally able to, through their work or mere presence, show a higher state of living and being.

When you count to 10, do you identify with the numbers or do you merely see them as numbers which your mind is counting.
Are you able to do the same with your personal identity, beliefs, personality, ego and the stream of thoughts which appear during shower or when you try to sleep
Are you able to disidentify with them as you are able to disidentify with the numbers you are counting. Can you see and understand, that when your mind counts to 10, and when your mind starts any type of narrative about yourself of anything going on around you, is the same. No difference
i put emphasis on disidentification. That would be one of the traits of a lightworker
thats totally understandable, and that sentence would be one way to describe the current state of humanity in general.
The main cause of the pain and suffering today in this world, is identification.
Lets say a person strongly identifies with their body, to the degree that the person can not see themselves beyond their body. If their arm is cut off, for them it would feel like a part of them being cut off, and cause immense mental suffering.
But a person who does not identify with their body, but sees it as a vessel, something temporary they operate from, would not feel the same degree of mental pain if their arm was cut off
when you disidentify with your body, see it as a possession instead of something you are, the next level is your inner world, which would be your thoughts and feelings. And the next level beyond that, would be the disidentification of the self. However, not annihilation of the self. The self that you are can not vanish, nor your identity.
Disidentification of the self would feel like living from close intimacy with everything around you.
An analogy would be the chess board. Every chess piece is a Self. The chess board, is the consciousness everything shares in essence.
The same consciousness is in everybody, in essence, but the self is subjective
