then ill tell u a story abt why me and my old fg stopped bieng friends

so basically at this orientation thingie i met this girl who was also in my homeroom and we became friends right
and so i introduced her to my other friends
Yeahh like normal
and it was all fine for a while but then on one day they like..stopped being friends with us over sm stupid? (i was on the new friends side btw)

so my old friends asked my new friend to scoot over to make room for a different friend (that me or her wasnt close with) and she refused saying (later) that she didnt do it bc she likes talking to someone like directly across from her or else she feels left out (btw this is all at lunch) and there was room on the other side of us and she mentioned that but they just didnt move
Who's at fault the new friend or the old friends?
and after we got our food and came back, the (old) friends just moved down 2 tables and we were like huh weird but kept eating until like a week later another friend who left us at the table (who i was closer with) told me that they had left bc they were mad that she wouldnt move down when there WAS room on the other side of her?? also bc she was still kinda new w them they probably didnt like her as much, (i also just kinda joined the fg) but i would say they r at fault
what do u think based on the story cuz i wanna hear another opinion from someone
Guess the fault is with the friend group,your new friend didn't do anything
And girl,like if they are also leaving you over this new girl,they were never good friends

b4 yeah they didnt kinda leave me out cuz i only joined like a school year ago and ngl i kinda ruined their trust bc i made some mistakes that im not proud of so if they left me out bc of that totally justifed but in that situation i was not apart of the problem
