i think most of not all drugs except the worst of the worst like fent should be mostly decriminalized across the country, dont lock people up over having a lil bit of weed or shrooms or crack or whatever

focus on helping them and rehabilitating them instead of incarcerating them

putting people in jail over an oz of weed has never helped anyone, it costs the taxpayers money, it potentially loses them their job, their home, car, family etc. and then what? you think theyre gonna get out and never touch pot again when they already have nothing? recidivism is something thats tracked for a reason

honestly drugs need to be incorporated into our social system, and almost decriminalized. lacing and other forms of tampering have to be dealt with and there needs to be a single safe place to buy from. that’s kinda what countries should incorporate. especially for shit like crack and lsd and dmt, there has to be a safe place to buy it from. usa was run by drug money at one point and even if there was a government owned drug clinic for like phycedelixa it would be better than buying from a sketchy dealer or off the dark we

exactly my point yes, a place to get clean needles, proper healthcare, education about the dangers of sharing needles, drug testing kits, access to rehab for people without insurance or family stuff like that

it would cost money yes, but it could help cut down on overdoses, drug use, crime rates, HIV/AIDS cases, etc etc

id be fine with my tax dollars going toward social programs aimed at helping addicts instead of funding prisons full of people who just wanted a blunt after work
