Coffee prices is so expensive for some reason
Like I dont ever drink coffee whatsoever
But the cost of how much for one drink is insane
Like even Fast Foods in todays time for one meal is over $15-20 dollars per person
Economy is a joke
Gen Z really got the worst upbringing in terms of how the real world is financially
But anyways bruh
I'll stick to black coffee anyday
Frfr
Some things can be so expensive
🤷♂️
Unless you a fatso you can get fast food for $10 or even a little bit under
But yeah if you eat like a big it's gonna be $20

Prices have definitely gone up over the years. Prices at Starbucks here in my area are too high and I don't understand why people still go there. Fast food prices are too high as well. Prices used to be around $2-$3 now it's triple that amount. I miss seeing the cheaper prices even though I don't actually eat fast food or coffee
Drink saudi coffee thank me later
i think your point goes beyond coffee. a lot of people feel like the cost of living has increased faster than their quality of life. housing, groceries, insurance, utilities, cars, and eating out have all become significantly more expensive over the last few years, and even when wages go up they often don't feel like they're keeping pace with everything else. that's why so many people feel financially squeezed despite working full time. when everyday purchases that used to be insignificant start feeling like actual financial decisions, it creates the impression that the average person's money simply doesn't go as far as it used to.
Chatgpt ah response
Also the reason the price goes up is because people pay for it, so really with a lot of things it's the consumers fault
If no one pays $8 for a coffee guess what happens? The business either lowers their prices or goes under, but the average consumer is too dumb to care or realize this
Not everything is ai or chatgtp
That was
umm i dont think thats how it works practically..user cannot just stop buying a thing
unless they got a substitute item for that
ECO 101
but yea u can say home made coffe is a substitute
Yes they can
calling it a chatgpt response doesn't really change what i said lol. i'm not even talking about why coffee is $8, i'm talking about why people feel broke all the time now. when rent, groceries, insurance, utilities, and everything else keep going up, people are gonna notice their money doesn't go as far.
i mean rent alone should tell you enough. the average rent was barely over a grand a month in 2010 and now it's like 50% higher. people are paying way more for the same basic necessities than they were back then
Make more money
Yeah because back then during baby boomer days everything was all cheap until up to this point
I think the moment Gen X hits was when economy was going up slowly and faster every single year
And now people fr gotta work 2 jobs in order to make a living or work one job while living with roommates or even live in the moms basement until everything somehow becomes fairly affordable but prolly won’t happen knowing the government doesn’t take care of their own citizens
And plus Capitalism won’t most likely last another 10 more years
You have money?
