IDK about u but it seems to me that we're heading towards a society that honors being fake way more than being genuine, I think we're already there lol, you can see the signs everywhere, the larp trend, and looksmaxxing retardation

more people are being fed this narrative of following certain ideologies, everyone is trying to create this fake image online of like success and thriving

it's to a point where a lot of people think they're losers or behind in every area, I understand that we're a society that honors the exceptional, but it's now clowning anyone who posts or shares a regular life, not all but most of us became self centric, we're just thinking about short term superficial gains, even in relations with others, I noticed that a lot of presumably friendships are based on the expectation of getting something in return

it's to a point where if someone has an insecurity he'll go to great lengths to hide it and preserve the society approved look instead of working on fixing it risking being vulnerable it's even with things one cannot control

I'm not asking you to fight the system or anything, what I wanna say is when you're old how would u reflect on this, would you still be satisfied or would u wish with that u lived true to yourself, knowing you only get one shot at this, one seems far better
