For the megas only challenge these five feel good but I have no idea what to put in the sixth slot. I’m thinking Glimmora but she leaves me with zero ground resists. Aero kind of fits and gives us tailwind but 4 rock weaknesses feels like asking to get treated as fodder.

I have been winning multiple tournaments over the years going to regionals and playing competitively for a good bit and just with one help on this one team

Recently made this one just for fun but grew really attached to it so I'm looking for a way to make it more viable for ranked doubles. The main strategy was to oneshot everyone by ampharos+fake tears but since its a tr team you'd need a way to play when you don't have access to tr (tried compensating for that with sneasler for some reason). Any suggestions¿

hello so this is the first time im interacting with the pokemon community as a whole. ive always(since 2019) wanted to get into the vgc(mainly 2v2) since ive seen casual videos here and there an its always been appealing to me, but since ive never been able to really afford a switch i was never able to. i recently saw that pokemon champions came out on phone and that motivated me to finally try and get into it but since i have only played pokemon as a child, i really dont know where to start. im a pretty competitive person and a quick learner once given some directions. im pretty scared to experiment since i saw the ranch in champions is like a gacha and i dont want to miss out on something i shouldve picked up(or some fomo thing like that). mostly in games like these im the kind of player to pick out a favourite/s and do my best to make them shine so i was thinking if its worth making a tierlist of the pokemon i love/like/hate etc and feed it into chatgpt or some bs and ask it to make me a team? in the middle allat i also thought maybe i can post it here and maybe somebody who has more than 10min on the game decides to help out a little

Mega Dragalge. An interesting mon. If you teambuild often, you may have seen them once or twice while making a team. You most likely scrolled past him. Though, I think he has some things going for him, so here is the team.

First off all, we have Dragalge itself. Unrelated but highkey 10/10 desgin. Anyways. Let's first look at what he has. He has the highest special defense in the game, sitting at 163, but has an hp of 65. We can work with this, but it has a 105 defense stat, so we need to work on that. It has a decent special attack stat, and since it has a low speed, we can slap it in Trick Room. For it's EVs, I invested 21 HP, 2 Defense, 25 Special Attack, and 18 Special Defense with a Quiet nature. The special attack allows it to OHKO the more specially frail Sylveon that run high special attack and defense. The moves I gave it are sludge bomb for reliable damage, Draco Meteor for burst, and Flip Turn for pivoting, allowing me to take advantage of Regenerator, and remove my Special Attack drops from draco Meteor.

Next off, we have Incineroar. Incineroar is brought to almost every game Dragalge is brought to. It's EVs and Ability is pretty standard (Some attack points to kill gholdengo most of the time), with it's item perhaps not being the most practical, (fun fact, I used leftovers over sitrus one time because I needed sitrus on another mon, and with grassy terrain healing I liked it more lol) but it's pretty normal. However, for the moves, I ultimatly decided that Will-O-Wisp gives me more value than Throat Chop, but just hear me out. I want to make my opponent's life hell. Jokes aside, this netrualizes most physical attackers for not just Dragalge's reign, but also for my other Pokemon in a late game. Fake out support is nice too.

Third, we have Rillaboom. Rillaboom is here to weaken Earthquake, offer extra Fake Out pressure, burst, priority, and most imporantly, Grassy terrain healing.

Im kind of a newbie in Pokémon and I made this team to try and win a tournament that uses the vgc reg M-C. In my tests, it feels really weird to use this team, cause It mostly gets into a 50/50 situation: I get absolutely destroyed by the opposing team or one of my pokémon shines and destroy the opposing team. So I was looking for suggestions in their moveset, itens & build. Oh yeah, I can also use ditto or cofagrigus besides those guys.

Leech life for healing and liquadation to hit fire types
Setup guy

PELIPPER

Hits fire types for super effective damage
Sets up rain and provides good supportive tools like tailwind and wide guard

ARCHAULDON

Takes advantage of the rain
Another setup option and a good special attacker

GRIMMSNARL

Sets screens to increase my bulky attackers bulk and completes my fantasy core
Gives me a relatively bulky switch in

BASCULEIGON

An offensive mon w good offensive abilities
Patches up matchups aganist gholdengo and other ghost types( and fire types)
Hits hard w wave crash in the rain

GARCHOMP

Helps aganist zard y and raichu and hisuian arcinane
Good offensive coverage and gives me access to some spread damage

Main idea/gameplan:Boost up w golisopod or arch maintain weather control and deal consistent damage with basc or chomp

Made a cool team. Unsure of its viability. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I haven't played a lot lately but will be attending a VGC challenge tomorrow. I'm not entirely sure what the meta is like atm so I wanted some insight on the two teams I'm considering. Any advice or changes?

Imagine this.... SURF Pelipper, which activates Water absorb and Stamina.... IM GENIUS. Could this work in ladder or in tournaments? and is Support or Offensive or Wall vaporeon better?
