Alright, in addition to Ticky message, i want to share an important update regarding the direction of the server and some changes that have recently been made behind the scenes.

Over the past few days, the server has gone through a structural reorganization. Some channels have been removed, others have been repurposed, and several sections have been cleaned up in order to make the server less cluttered, easier to navigate, and overall more organized for everyone. Our goal is to improve the experience for both new and existing members by making the community feel clearer, cleaner, and more functional.

Alongside these visible changes, we have also made major internal changes to how our staff team operates.

Going forward, we will be holding our staff team to a much higher standard in professionalism, activity, communication, and overall performance. We are actively working on improving internal structure, accountability, and moderation quality to ensure the community receives the level of management it deserves.

In addition to that, our moderator recruitment process has been completely reworked. From the application stage all the way through training and evaluation, the entire process has been redesigned to better identify qualified candidates and properly prepare them before they become full members of the moderation team. This means a stronger, more capable staff team moving forward.

Most importantly, this server is entering a new phase of management.

As many of you may know, I have stepped in as the new Community Manager, and I am now actively working alongside Ticky and other staff members to continuously improve the quality of the members experience within the community.

From this point forward, if you have concerns regarding staff conduct, moderation, server organization, or general community issues, you are welcome to reach out to me directly. I will be actively involved in listening to feedback, addressing concerns, and working toward solutions that benefit the community as a whole.

Hello!

I would like to clear some things up..
Recently, we lost our 2 other owners. Now, it's just me left.

Today I will be speaking about Astrid specifically, and why she isn't even in the server anymore.

We found out that Astrid had been scamming people (Specifically @Serenity (@TwilightRoseberry) T ) for hundreds. Here at AoC, we don't want anything getting stolen. This was a safety issue (having her on the team / in the server).

Now, this isn't the ONLY thing Astrid did. A couple of days ago, she came online and sent in media a "hear me out" table/ranking, on which half of the characters at the top where it said || "where's my clothes at" || had mainly animals.
We do not allow any form of || zoophilia || and for that reason we have taken action.
- > Many also felt extremely uncomfortable with how ||sexual|| her bio was, as-well as her banner on discord (which we couldn't see EVERY part of because the banner was too big)

On the tier list, she used the excuse "All of the animals are anthro"

What are DID (+ OSDD) systems ?

D.I.D. or usually known as Dissociative Identity Disorder, is a complex dissociative disorder, usually caused via trauma.

Basically, simply put, in scientific terms it's multiple states of consciousness that are seperated. With each state of consciousness being an alter or headmate.

In simpler terms, which is more easy to imagine, think of it as multiple people or indentities (The said formerly mentioned above "headmates" or "alters"), sharing one physical brain in one physical body.

Note:
It's not roleplaying, even if you see an alter that looks like a fictional character in a system, there's a reason for that.

Basically, members in a sys who are a character from some source of media are introjects or fictives normally. Simply, headmates with some sort of source media, that they likely formed based on, in some sort of way, or attached to in some way.

What does fronting mean?:

Fronting is the term used to basically say who's in control of the body at a current time !

Basically like saying headmate a or b is in control at the moment.

What do they mean when they say switching?:

Switching is when an alter or headmate changes places with another for front, or when somebody joins front in a sys.

What are these people talking with "app" next to their names? Are they discord bots?:

Nope ! Those are actual people ! They are headmates from a DID system person within the server using pluralkit to allow them to speak through their system proxies ! Pluralkit is an accessability tool for systems. Designed to let their alters speak through temporary proxy accounts !

Small note:
It's rude to call headmates of systems speaking through pk "bots" or "apps" because they are actual people, keep this in mind. /info
