First, Hello
The standard channel will be deprecated. This will take over and so will #channel for those who support the CGL through nitro, patreon etc.
To understand the benefit. You no longer need the VRChat to see and take part in this channel. So when you invite friends to Cimmarian they can take part right away just by grabbing the Gaming role from #channel
Not to be confused with #channel these will still need a support role or the VRChat role to join an event.

For those who want to make open group portals for memebers of Cimmarian and those outside the group can now do this. Just assign yourself the Cimmarian Create Portals role. This comes with Mandatory 2FA. So if you don't want to use 2FA with VRChat then you won't be able to have the role. This is to protect these group instances from scammers and hackers.

It's a good strategy, There are SO MANY good worlds that are not in english. Even more so than ones you are used to. even JRPGs etc. Since they tend to be more skilled at programming and ripping content.

Friday is here, For those who like to jump on VRC on the weekends (trust me it is dead on weekdays) you can create Cimmarian instances.
This allows you to bring in trusted community members without doing a full public lobby.
When you are on the group page. When looking at members find yourself. Hit the edit / pencil button and add "Create Portals" once saved you can now creates portals and open instances. This includes group+ and even group public (if you want anyone and Cimmarian to join)
Benefits
Game worlds can include CGL and their friends list
Drinking nights can be restricted but not limited (Our main age demographic is 20-30)
All members of Cimmarian can see your Cimmarian instances
No need to friend users just to let them in (users can join since they are members)
Great way to invite users in here to a free party, gathering, drinking night, world hoping etc

After many tests, I have been able to for the most part optimize VRC to give me max frames. This being said it comes down to a lot of tweaks and turning some avatars off. (You can manually turn close friends avatars on) However, If you want 100+ FPS There are some ways to do this and I'll be testing it tonight. So far so good in publics. Full pug now gives me 101-120 fps.
You can, the biggest issue is always avatars, second is world and third is personal settings. To get these frames does require some strict settings like only allowing avatars over 70-80mb be downloadable and show etc.
I found out some odd settings like setting your VR headset to it's max frame rate for whatever reason provides more frames overall even if it can't reach what you set. (VRChat only) I do not know what causes this.
I also only played around with Nvidia / Intel but I hear AMD CPUs have a slight edge in VRChat due to their memory computation difference. There is a spiked lag and then they get a 5-10% better speed.
