♡ Pull up a chair at thepurpletab.net

We're a small online café for women and nonbinary folks who like tech, math, games, and learning new things in good company. The vibe is early-2000s internet: curious, a little nostalgic, and kind.

✦ What happens here

☕ The Café: hobby chats, game talk, and language practice
⌘ The Lab: code, math, AI, and design questions, project show-and-tell, and study sessions
🎮 The Arcade: logic puzzles, coding challenges, and community events (answers go in #activities-chat)
🎧 Voice rooms: co-working, gaming, or just hanging out, plus temporary rooms you can make yourself

✦ The house vibe

・Every question is a good question
・Rest and lurking are allowed
・Kindness, privacy, and boundaries come first

✦ Who's it for?

Women and nonbinary people (trans members included) at any level: first-time coders, students, self-taught learners, seasoned devs, and the simply curious. We're international and English-speaking, but you don't need perfect English. Always SFW.
