RECRUITING FOR THE RIFF CHOIR

**A new server collab project! **

How it works:

• We are recruiting a group of choral-enthused singers to sort into soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. You will learn 5-8 songs for a few months and record projects in Bandlab.
• We will work on choral techniques like dynamics, sightreading, and diction to get a smooth and blended sound to share with everyone!
• Once all of it is fully learned, perfected, and the Bandlab is complete, the songs will be posted and played in a viewparty, or "choir concert".

Just Dance Starting Now!!!

We are going to be trying out a just dance event!

Now I’m sure everyone knows what just dance is. It’s where you follow the movement of a person on screen and dance along!

You don’t need much space. A small space in your living room, bedroom or garden will be fine. Just dance doesn’t require you to have too much room!

I have the classics for you guys with just dance 2020 unlimited! That’s dancing along to classics like Ghost Busters, Rasputin, Firework, and so much more!

We will be holding this in the community hub for the first trial! We encourage you to come along! With fun rewards such as 1500 XP and 500 riff coins for every 3 songs you stick around for! And double that if you put your camera on to join in!

Anywayssss, ever heard of hot seat? One person has to answer as many questions from other people in a minute? Well that's what we're doing! This is just a simple open mic, and after every performance, the audience, as well as me, will ask you, the performer a BUNCH of questions and you'll try to answer as many as you can in a minute

All questions need to be appropriate, not everyone here is an adult! You can ask personal questions, or general questions, but in the end, it's up to the performer what they want to answer! So come join a fun time filled with songs and juicy questions 🤭

Hey guys! There has been an important change in the production schedule for LUCKY STAR, so we just wanted to let you know that we’ll be taping the show’s premiere week episodes in the next little while. We hope to see you there!

How does this work?

Each episode will allow three contestants to perform out of the queue. Each of them can perform for up to 5 minutes and will then spin the Lucky Star Wheel to determine how much money they will get to take home!
At the end of each episode, we will have a Bonus Round where anyone in the audience can perform even if they’re not in the queue!

The stage opens 15 minutes before recording starts. See you there! 👋

How does the game work?

Contestants go in queue order.* Each one will select boxes in a random order to open, each revealing a different money amount from the game board. Along the way, the current contestant will receive cash offers to sell their selected box and leave the game. The ultimate goal of the game is to score the highest deal possible in exchange for their box in order to add money to the Deal Or No Deal Leaderboard*.

There are new mythical weapons spawning this season and the point earning has been rescaled.
The prizes for this season are as follows
- 1st 45 min vocal lesson or 2 months nitro
- 2nd 1 month nitro
- 3rd 2-month basic nitro
- 4th 1 month basic nitro
- 5th golden buzzer or ticket
How do I earn points
You earn points by
- playing for 5 mins, 30 mins, and 1 hour
- leveling up your character
- unlocking parts of the map
- defeating bosses and mini bosses
- finding and building mythical items,

KING OF THE PAST

A thrilling 1v1 Blitz Battles format with the chance to rack multiple chain victories and points. Each performer will select a song from the 1900’s.
The winner of each round gets to stay up and perform against the next person in line, up to a maximum of 5 consecutive wins. They go down after that.
If a TIE happens, BOTH players go down. 2 new performers come up.
Performers go in queue order, with the Host's discretion to use a wheel for the first performer of the event, after a tie, or after 5 wins.
+1 Blitz Leaderboard Point per win / 0.5 for tie

Hey guys! The stage is now open for today's recording event of LUCKY STAR!

Lucky Star* airs on the Riff-Off YouTube channel every Monday - Friday afternoon at 2:30 PM (CST)*.

📚 Basic Guidelines

Anyone wishing to participate in this show will need to join the queue in the https://discord.com/channels/750270413652885525/1387539140534468778 when it opens each week. Up to 20 people can join the queue each event.
Each episode contains a total of four contestants from the queue.* They will go in order, each performing for up to five minutes, and after each performance, the current contestant will spin the Lucky Wheel to determine how much money they will take home. The possible values of money are listed below*.

The Bonus Round

Each of the five episodes taped per event will end with a Bonus Round, where anyone in the audience that reacts to a particular message can perform regardless if they are in the queue or not! This will happen five times for each event.

Receiving Your Prize

Any contestant who wins a prize on Lucky Star will receive their respective items or value on the day that the episode airs where they won that prize. Contestants will be notified on the respective day via an announcement for the episode.
