Hey guys, I've been trying to build a team around Skeledirge for doubles and I decided on its bulky version. The problem is, because of its speed, I can't decide whether to pair it with a Tailwind or Trick Room team. This team is just a draft and I put it together myself, so half the team works with Trick Room and the other half outside of it. I intend to use it for BO3 with an open team sheets and gradually improve it. I don't know if a team like this would work. I was hoping someone with more experience could give me some advice on how to adjust the team. The sixth Pokémon I added was Hydreigon so I could hit Dragon and Electric types. Hi! Thanks for checking this thread! I am currently building a mega-dragonite team and plateuing at ~1550 elo. Just wondering if I could improve this build or if its mostly piloting error.

Mega-Dragonite is mostly the main, bulky carry. Outspeeds adamant garchomps. I either choose Whimsicot or Sableye for support, who tailwind, prio fale tears or screen. Snorlax is my second bulky attacker, but I dont bring him as often as he is very slow. With these EVs he 0KOs Kingambit with Hammer Arm and chunks Mega-Char alot. Also useful for lategame with yawns.

Arcanine also useful for support and an occasional flare blitz. Sylveon for some fairy attacks and a surprise psychic. It is able to outspeed Sneasler under Tailwind.

Currently struggling the most against glimora, yet bascs, aerodactyls and sometimes sneasler still are problematic.

Kiiinda dont wanna use incineroar or sinischa, but I can use them if really necessary.

Tomito built me this team, and it's actually quite good. Most often and start with: Tyranitar + Sinistcha, Aerodactyl + Sinistcha, Aerodactyl + Garchomp. And it often works out well. Trick room is countered, tail wind any other weather. Just want to say IT'S NOT a sand team. Like it is but it's not a main thing there.

Problems:
- Ice beam is a problem for my garchomp. - Everything dies from close combat. (Snizler, Mega raptor).
- When the opponent's Garchomp is faster, Earthquake on Tyrranitar.
- Need to add some move to switch opponent's Pokemon. If he has archaludon with + 3 defense and my garchom is dead. It's gg
- Whimsicott is bad too. With moon blast/ tail wind/ taunt. Sylveon with hyper voice.
- Im slow

I was thinking about replacing Ditto with something that counters Snizler/Mega Staraptor. Psychic type? Give the rotom different moves, because I rarely use light screen or swap him out but then i wouldn't have any ele/water moves. I fought we could change ditto to Aegislash and rotom to mega electros. Give Aerodactyl another item but idk.

I actually don't have any experience build a great team. So I just use pokemon that I thought good for countering current meta.

Need suggestions for this team. Any move replacement or what would be the best stat alignment as well. If you think any mon to be replaced. I am ok with that as well.

Alternative ideas welcome spreads can be improved

I'm am just generally having some problems getting this team to work. I intend for this team to poison the opponent and then sit on the field and be super bulky. My problems are steel type Pokémon as I dont have much coverage for them. I am also having some problems with TR teams. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have been using this team recently only 2 - 3 days
I often find struggling to choose what to lead and also struggle with opposite snow or sand wheather based teams
I often try to lead staraptor+ whimsicott tho I end using farigiraf

Araquanid is not very connect with other moms beside Palafin. My plan is to use Araquanid as dmg booster with Water Bubble + Entrainment but it overwrite Basculegon’s Adaptability and Araquanid is so slow it can’t give Water Bubble to the mega mons at the same turn, only when i switch the mon in and use Entrainment at the same turn. The problem is both mega mons has to mega so they will overwrite Water Bubble. So i have to mega them before giving them Water Bubble. Should i replace Araquanid or replace other mons?

saw a trick room mega blastoise team and wanted to try it out but don't have chandelure (for taunt) so i wanted to replace it with zoroark for fun and whimsy.

replacing it is hard since i don't really know what I'm doing. from what i played, zoroark won't do as much damage as chandelure and lack a stab fire spread move and a grass coverage.

i also added mega mawile as a secondary mode in teams where blastoise isn't as good and also basculegion as an outside trick room sweeper since i don't have protect on most of my mons.

zoroark is trained to outspeed other trick room, taunt and imprison user to have taunt prio (like farig, tsareena, sinistcha). icy wind can be handy outside of trick room against mons with similar speed. this mon just lacks damage sadly.

so I'd like to ask, are there any mons i can add/replace as a flex seal for more coverage without replacing blastoise and zoroark if possible. but if not, I'd like to know what other mons would be really good. also if there's any moves i should replace here.

I am really enjoying mega sceptile and think it has potential if piloted correct. Need suggestions for different mons or items used to run mega metagross but wanted to bring a steel type with sceptile and it felt bad when I didnt mega evolve metagross

So here is the deal guys this is the team i was running where I was using 2 mega mode depending on the matchup, so im asking for help with evs and if some moves may be better in your opinion, every single member can come to the battle except that Chesnaught has to go with farigiraf as he is trickroom mode and Delphox as the speed/balance mode if you think another mon would be strict upgrade im very hapy to hear

I’ve just tweaked this team yesterday and today but it has known synergy in ladder but I haven’t seen much of this type of mix up. I was running into an aerodactyl problem as I had whims before I added Basc.
The idea is to just force my opponent to guess what mode I’m going. Typically you’d have to guess around what mega first and what duo after. No one really sees the charcoal incen but it’s helped a lot. I also think double intimidate is a double edged sword but not in most cases as you don’t have to lead it. Charizard is just strong and it falls to anything which I’m sure I can change. Tested the venu w sleep poweder but just ended up wanting a grass move most times.
Also tried goldhengo for the rock pokemon before basc but it’s usually the speed or giving up an item. And w no redirection if tailwinds were matched I was just a sitting duck for partner aero teams. Maybe just a skill issue on my end though I could never play that cheese Mon.
I’m looking for more holes. Or any glaring weakness I haven’t seen.

Also more precise calcs/SP. Just haven’t calcled for anything specific

goal: im trying to make my team strong enough to climb lader a bit while there are pokemon im willing to swap out however i dont wanna use certain super meta mon such as charizard or sneaseler etc
the vibe of the team is pokemon i could see myself using on my own champion team so i wanna lean heavy into pokemon i like

I’m trying to get a better Charizard matchup

Having issues trying to cover garchomp, zard y, and tanky water mons like milotic and primarina (who i just got calm mind swept by 💀)
I usually lead fari blast to try and get a fake out, and if they lead a squishier non ghost mon i try to lead staraptor with fari but considering cutting it because of how popular gholdengo and sinistcha are atm. Tbh just lost with what i should be covering and who i should be running in that abomasnow slot. Any help appreciated!!!

I am willing to trade anything decently easy to get in sword and shield for a palafin cuz I rly need it

Looking for something better than hydreigon to counter things like archuladon and take a hit or two from charizards too
