Sun Team with a twist

  1. Torkoal starts with the sun and tanks hit to setup stealth rock or will-o-wisp the phsyical attackers.(leftovers)

2.Scovillian Starts with speed boosted by chlorophy , hitting insane damaged fire moves and leaf storms to ko the other mons.(white herb)

3.Talonflames comes full support with tailwind and feather dance using gale wings , flare blitz and u turn for chip damage.(focus sash)

4.Staraptor comes to sweep the opponents with contrary of mega staraptor boosting attacking by two stages by feather dance of talonflame ( mega stone)

im winning 95 percent of my matches with this in my doubles , someone rate my team and give some improvements.

Metagross Swampert Rain Team Preview

This has been sitting for two days while I was playing with Sceptile/Mawile, but finally started testing and it's strong so far.

I tried rain with regular Stamina Archie last season and found it really boring to play, too slow, very not my style - but Archie is still super good under rain, so I'm trying this Scarf set and it's doing well so far

Sash Poison Touch Sneasler sounded very fun to me so I'm giving it a try. Another good Grass counter besides Pelipper to protect Swampert is nice to have and love how he provides Fake Out and poison support besides strong fighting type coverage. I forgot to change Dire Claw to Poison Jab, but guess I'm doing it to reinforce the poison chance.

Had Taunt over Foul Play but 1. I hate not having at least 1 attack move and 2. Prankster Taunt is useless against Farig, which is the main mon I feel like Taunting. So I still feel weak against TR teams - open to ideas regarding that and anything in general

Hyperoffense Mega Chandelure Team Build

https://pokepast.es/2db6999c0252f439

With the addition of Light Clay and Grimmsnarl, Mega Chandelure's Infiltrator ability might finally be able to shine, so I'm continuing to try and make this gorgeous mon happen

In this first iteration of the season I'm going for hyperoffense with Metagross as a strong secondary mega that also can handle screens if needed

The cat duo is there for fake out support and strong coverage - Ice comes in handy against Garchomps and Staraptors, Knock Off against Sinistchas, Gholdengos and Annihilapes etc, while Sneasler deal with Archaludon, Grimmsnarl and the fairies.

Sinistcha is a great glue to any team.

Now my doubts:
I'm back and forth with the final slot. Dragonite as a tailwind setter always sounds cool to me, and I put Life Orb on him because Life Orb Extreme Speed sounds fun - but didn't test it yet or anything lol

I first had Light Clay Sableye there instead to set up my own screens and provide will-o-wisp/quash/encore support and typing this now it still sounds like better option than Dnite, but I do feel like I should have a Tailwind user.

Whimsicott is another amazing option, giving me not only Tailwind and several support options but also fairy type coverage, which this team is lacking and is probably more valuable than the dragon type coverage Dnite is providing. With Weavile there, not sure I really need any of that though.

Than there's Aerodactyl, that gives me STAB Rock Slide, very needed flying type coverage, Tailwind and Wide Guard.

And here's come the main issue: Aero and Whimsy sounds amazing, but both really need Focus Sash, that Weavile can't really go without.

Dnite have its natural Sash with Multiscale, but he's weak against common leads like Whimsicott, Grimmsnarl and any Encore users.

If anyone has suggestions on what to do with this final slot (I'm open to replacing Weavile if it comes to that too), let me know please

VGC Team Building Tools & Damage Resources

Pokebrain.app
this website is a must have for anyone trying to team build. Plug in your mons, listen to the suggestions across the board from moves to ev to Mon swaps and how it should be played. Let it analyze for you and make that ladder climb easier.

Pokémon Damage Calculator https://share.google/jm1Y57gqqCAvdtAAE

the main damage calculator I use to ensure my ev sets are exactly what I want them to be into specific matchups. Another must have for good team comp and educated play.

Pokemon Champions Calc Quiz | Pikalytics https://share.google/ne7Jee3lgOQFehG8y

Not sure if a move is an ohko or even a 2hko? DO THIS QUIZ OVER AND OVER IN YOUR SPARE TIME! this helps you build those internal damage calcs to call on mid match! I cannot understate this one enough.

Mega Metagross Team Feedback & Move Help

This is the team i threw together and its been performing pretty good. But im sure the moves items and evs can be more optimized and would like the feedback of more experienced players. And i of course will test it more to tweak but i wont catch a lot of things especially the evs. Maybe if something dies too early ill add in some hp lmao
Considerstions:
1. coaching on sneasler but idk which move to drop
2. Thunder or ice punch on metagross
3. I switched eq to stomping tantrum but idk if thats the move. I maybe need a protect on whimsicott to make eq better.

Thx 4 any feedback

Mega Tyranitar/Metagross Team Advice

This is the current team I’ve been running. As you can, it is very physical. I’ve been thinking to change that up but I’m not sure what to take out or put in so I’d like some advice

So how I usually run the team is I bring aerodactyl and incin 90% of the time. For the last 2 I’d bring one of the megas and the other attacker. Usually mega tyranitar with garchomp or mega metagross with annihilape. Occasionally I would sit out aerodactyl or incin for the other non mega pokemon depending on the situation.

Now here’s the problem. As I said, it’s all physical and I’ve been feeling the problem more and more because of Archaludon. It is very inconsistent for me. Sometimes I can get rid of it quickly with annihilape, sometimes I can’t and I lose to that bridge. Basically either I kill it quick or I dont and just lose.

Another problem that’s not so ofter is mega froslass. I sometimes win the weather war with tyranitar, sometimes I use metagross to kill it, but nothing concrete. It is very inconsistent.

So yeah, that’s basically it. I need a special attacker or two that can solve the problems but also still fit in with the rest of the team. But I dont know who to take out or who to put in. So I’m looking for help. Any advice is welcome 🙏

Mega Sceptile Mawile Team Discussion

Was testing Sceptile with Bellibolt first, but it's important to have a faster duo and I had Rotom-Heat sitting in my box pretty much since I downloaded the game a month ago so better make use of it

The duo works really well and Mawile is another powerful mega option.

Aero provides Tailwind and Wide Guard support + very needed Rock and Flying coverage

Basc and Sneasler are just great powerful coverage + fake out support

Very straightforward, but should have room for improvement.

I'm thinking replacing Coaching for Protect would make more sense in this team and also Mystic Water instead of Sitrus on Basc is probably a stronger option.

Open for any kinds of suggestions!

Refining Char Y Sun Doubles Team

I'm in Ultra Ball Tier Rank 4 (I've been stuck)

Mostly need help in the H. Zoroark and Dragonite slot, since I feel like they might not be the best fit for the team, or I'm just not using them correctly. Any other suggestions (strategy or move changes) are welcome though.

  • I have Zoroark for Sneaslers and Trick Room teams. I planned on having Zoroark pretend to be Incineroar to bait fake out and close combat, but I forgot that it's obvious it's Zoroark because no intimidate (it did work against someone though lmao). Then for trick room I could just taunt the setter.
  • I have Dragonite mostly for Garchomp, but it never really works and I get rock slide'd to death, and I never really bring Dragonite anyways.

I usually start Whimsicott + Incin, with Armarouge and Char Y in the back, pretty much always doing Tailwind + Fake Out first.

This team has mostly been struggling with Trick Room, opposing Incineroars, Garchomps, Sneaslers, and Sand teams.

Note: My best way of getting Pokemon is Pokemon GO 😭

Mega Raichu Y Team: Weakness Review & Help

Howdy! I'm looking for help describing the weaknesses of my Raichu team. If possible, what do I have covered and especially what don't I? You're absolutely allowed to roast my team, choices, and set ups! I believe any insight might be beneficial, especially if it can help me get out of Great Ball Rank 1.

My team isn't BiS (Best in Slot) with abilities nor moves, but I'm low on VP because I can hardly get a win. I, unfortunately, am dedicated to this roster, but I'll still take note of the reason behind the suggestions.

Basculegion and Whimsicott are the two most recent grabs, followed by Farigiraf. Basculegion might have STAB Wave Crash, Head Smash for Fire types and maybe Flying, STAB Last Respects, and STAB Flip Turn or Surf. Whimsicott will have Tail Wind, either Protect or Helping Hands, STAB moves. Sinistcha will have Life Dew, STAB Hex, STAB Matcha Gatcha, and either Calm Mind or Protect. I need to give my Raichu Protect again and/or Dazzling Gleam.

I've built around Rain Team + Mega Swampert counters, including Trick Room, double Grass, and maybe base Lighting Bolt Raichu vs Rain Archie.

I have my Raichu speed to be exactly 1 higher than max speed Mega Staraptor, who is still a massive thorn in my side. Trick Room could be used here too, but I prefer Tailwind.

Basculegion and maybe Sinistcha for my Trick Room Eruption encounters.

One of my biggest problems is that none of my pokemon can Fake Out ghost types.

Basculegion and Mega Raichu Y in Trick Room vs Mega Aerodactl.

Quite a few scenarios theoretically covered! I'm just not that great, tho. Ghost types, bulky mons, and Mega Malamar counter me quite easily. Are there any ideas on what I could change (besides the mons) to fix some of these issues? 🙂

Swampert Rain Team Rundown & Results

This is really strong and really fun to play. Before you say its bad or isn’t optimal, I won a locals 3-0 and went 4-1 at another with this team. I think it is one of the best ways to play rain right now.

M Venusaur + M Aerodactyl Team Review

In Reg MA, i made a M Venusaur team, abusingits amazing matchups into meta threats by pairing it with partners that could deal with Psychic and Flying Types.
But now, in Reg MB, with Staraptor, i needed to rework my team, and i switched from a trick room centered team, i chose a Tailwind based M Aerodactyl team.

I want to know if there's anything i could optimise or change.
Incineroar has taunt because if not Trick Room destroys me.

The team is mainly Bulky Offense, using Twind to compensate in Speed.

M Venusaur, Rotom-W, Incineroar is main core, and Gholdengo is here because its incredible into Staraptor.

Mega Mawile Trick Room Build Discussion

I love Mega Mawile, believe she's currently the best hard trick room carry. With screen extension in the game I also think hard trick room has a chance now even against zard spam. Open to suggestions and critique

Team explanation:
Grimmsnarl is really good at slowing down hyper offence teams, taunt is mainly there to counter the annoying scaraptor and stop its healing
Milotic was a late edition, initially had Goldengo there but he struggled a bit into zard slop/intimidate spam, and there's a looootta intimidate going around you're basically throwing if you don't have a defiant user
Aromatisse is just my fav trick room setter, can be swapped with the the giraffe or the monkey, your preference really
Surprisingly I found I rarely bought the sinistcha and mostly felt bad when I did bring him (besides the few games the gacha goes crazy) so considering swapping it out. Aromatisse really does bring enough healing most of the time

Gengar-Staraptor Team Build Advice

https://pokepast.es/fa13d89d2435dee8

When looking for a mon to beat starapator I found gengar, and decided to build a team around it and staraptor (Scrafty would be my other choice since it has better synergy with gengar overall but until the hype around staraptor dies down its a bit difficult to use especially since I like using incin)

The team is rly solid and works well overall but there are 3 things bugging me.

For one I have 2 dark types and 2 ghost types, and I don't like having more than 1 repeating type on my teams, the fact that both my megas are weak to psychic is annoying but dealable since gengar can also hit psychic for super effective, more importantly the fact that I have 4 physical attackers and 2 special attackers bugs me a hell lot.

The only real reason I have sinistcha rn is bcause it completes the fire grass water trio that was rly strong on my old team, but I could see replacing it with farig.

Out of incin and grimmsnarl I prefer incin bcause I rly like using taunt incin, but Idk what I'd replace grimmsnarl with.

Araquanid can be replaced with say primarina but I rly like wide gaurd so idk

Mega Dragalge Toxic Doubles Team Guide

I love mega dragalge.

I hit master ball in the first season with scovillain bulky archaludon pelliper basculegion. I made a team for dragalge built around toxic and bulk (team 3 in the photo) but it flopped HARD. I threw dragalge into my old team (team 1) and replaced scovillain's role with him. It worked but that's because the other three carried all the weight.

How can I make a great toxic team around mega dragalge for doubles?

Staraptor + Mega Steelix Team Idea

The thought is to switch to ateelix as my mega in a pikachu or other unfavorable matchup.
