Zusammenfassung
In the Pokémon Champions | VGC Battles & Tournaments server, members are actively refining competitive Trick Room teams. This discussion focuses on optimizing core synergies between Farigiraf, Snorlax, and Kingambit, while addressing common vulnerabilities like turn-one double targeting. The community provides expert feedback on move sets and potential additions to ensure the team is tournament-ready.
Hey everyone. Ive been playing around with different teams for a while, some tailwind some trick room and some dual mode. I made this team a few days ago and initially it was doing great. The belly drum attacks and eforce can be brutal.
Usually farig can pull off trick room while snorlax belly drums, set terrain for itself and hatterene and things go well. I initially had mega scrafty and scizor but I found kingambit a lot more useful so opted for kingambit and mega camerupt.
Usually things go well, except when farig is doubled targeted turn 1. Usually snorlax is tanky enough to move on without trick room but difficult. Also been swapping snorlaxes moves around to see what works. Initially had ice punch and body slam, then eq and rock slide.
Any changes you might recommend? I can start off farig and sinistcha to make the trick room user less predictable or use rage powder but sinistcha isnt always useful in some matchups. Was thinking maybe to add a min speed sneasler or equivalent for fake out help. I do like the team, id like to refine it before I decide whether to use it for a tourney next week
Soz for the rambling, thanksss!

Thankss!
Did i write too much 😂
I am wondering what Pokémon kill farigiraf with a double up
And uh
What does magic powder do
I'm genuinely surprised I have to ask what a move does
Ok I found out
That's kinda uh
Oh its something niche and new im trying but miggt change it. It just changed a pokemon to psychic type. So thought i could use it alongside kingambit/scrafty towards the end of match when there isnt much else I can do
Ill probably not keep it only trying it 😂
So earlier I got kowtow kleaved and then dragon clawed. Usually when its camerupt or snorlax next to fsrig, then it wont get double targeted. But it still does at times
And lorb claw kowtow kills?,
Damn
Not often, but then if double targeted yes
I for some reason struggle to believe that
The colbur saves me but then the 2nd attack on t1 can kill
Like the other day I got close combated by sneasler and then hit with bug bite scizor
Ive also had bug bite crit and one shot once
Oh you aren't that bulky
Yeah you should be bulkier
Bug bite sciz ohkos
No need for crit
121 def I think
Reckon I should move some from sp def to def
I don't like attack
Which one?
And also I'd think you want a fake out user
Attack investment
Sorry for not writing spatk
I was thinking this! I had scrafty but I kept faking out late game after setting psychic terrain 🤦♂️but might need a fake out user for t1
Team's weird
You are also missing EVs on Gambit
Oh okay makes sense i can get rid of that. I had helping hand instead of thunderbolt. Do u reckon I should have protect instead on farig
Oh
Omg
I adjusted this the other day must have been half asleep 😭
is the trick room merchant
Explains why he's been so frail lately 🤦♂️
I genuinely tend to disrespect trick room structures in this metagame
I don't really think they have potential
I usually lean towards tailwind or dual mode but I wanted to try a hard trick room strat for the rest of this season
Except one kang giraffe torkoal creation
I've faced
That's ok
Ooo
It's killed me enough because I always tend to guess wrong on the sets
I'd suggest trying kang
I reallllly hate kang
