Summary

Another element of the pitch deck.

Problems ⬇️

2 - GameFi and gaming

1/ Gamers spend countless hours playing a game while not being recognized for it. They don’t live a trace and have no proof of their commitment.

2/ The allocation of player earnings isn't equitable, with only the top players & streamers earning. We're talking about the 0.001% of the players who make ends meet.

3/ Value-add stakeholders (contributors, streamers) aren’t fairly rewarded.

4/ Gamers are left out of the gaming value chain. GameFi sucked up liquidity from players. The winners are the studios, not you. Again, a game with no players has no value. Why is it that players don’t capture this value?

5/ GameFi is not empowering players and players aren’t empowered.

We're addressing gaming's structural issues. Adding jpegs to the equation isn't adding value.

At XBorg, we look beyond GameFi's current applications. In order to contribute to the mass adoption of blockchain games, we are building for true players. Welcome to PlayFi, anon.

Let’s discuss the overarching issues with Gaming & GameFi 🧵

Please be aware that an XBorg stealth or surprise mint will never be announced. Please consider anything related to a mint that is announced on our Discord but not relayed to our Twitter account a scam or hack.

Please keep your DMs closed and avoid clicking on random links.

As more traditional players join the crypto space, education will become increasingly important.

Again, any information related to a mint that is shared on our Discord but not relayed on our Twitter should be considered as not genuine.

We are starting to unveil elements of the pitch.

We are starting with the problems that we are tackling.

Problems ⬇️

1 - Esports

1/ The Esports ecosystem intermediaries take a significant portion of the players' payout. Top players only get a small portion of the money they make. However, a game is worthless without players. Why is it that the ecosystem's most important stakeholders receive the least?

2/ In Esports, getting noticed and integrating into a team is difficult. You must not only have the necessary skills but also know the right people and have a strong network. It's also difficult for teams to notice good players. Scouting players is difficult.

3/ The Esports financing model is broken, with sponsorships accounting for 80% of revenue. Esports teams are dependent on sponsors and struggle to make ends meet.

4/ Casual players, fans, and supporters, on the other hand, are barely included in the Esports value loop. Although they would like to participate financially, they can’t.

5/ These are some of Esports' most difficult challenges. We use blockchain to address these issues. A true blockchain use case to solve a broken industry.

At the crossroads of traditional Esports teams, crypto gaming guilds, and blockchain protocols, XBorg is an Esports 3.0 universe. We tackle some of the largest problems in Esports & gaming, with blockchain.

Let’s discuss the overarching issues in Esports🧵

At XBorg, we strive to educate our fellow Xplorers.

As you know, we have created an alpha channel, where we discuss upcoming NFT projects. Currently, only discord members with enough Energy have access to the channel. <@&971859058556563497>

Discussing is only one part. We are capable of much more. I propose building a course that will be available only to people having the <@&971859058556563497> tag on our Discord. We will cover NFT fundamental analysis, NFT on-chain data analysis, and NFT trend analysis among other topics.

It's a great chance for intermediate NFT investors to learn more from NFT veterans. We will go straight to da point. No bs.

How to get the <@&971859058556563497> role?

⬇️

For this occasion, we are opening the alpha channel to everyone who retweets, joins our Discord, and comments here: “I am in” + discord username. We won’t launch the course if we don’t reach 200 RTs. It’s up to you. The ball is in your court. You've got 48 hours.

The XBorg universe won’t open until we have accumulated enough Energy. (2,222,222) We are 20% of our way there.

We understood that getting Energy in our Discord was hard and sometimes not actionable. We received numerous inquiries from fellow Xplorers who wanted to contribute but lacked the necessary tools and infrastructure.

Wait no more.

A simple tool to complete quests and accumulate Energy ⚡

**How does it work? **

Join crew3, connect your Discord account, and choose a quest to accomplish, then submit proof of completion. We provide you with XP after we review the task. It's that easy.

**But what about our in-discord Energy? **

It remains our primary method of capturing engagement. On a weekly basis, the Crew3 XP will be swapped 1:1 with our Discord Energy. The dashboard for Energy is on its way. If you are not on our Discord, you won't get Energy ⚡

**What are some examples of quests? **

Join one of our tournaments, make some memes or fan art, register on Community Gaming (https://www.communitygaming.io/), get the SwissBorg app (https://swissborg.com/), invite some frens on Discord and get the Xplorer tag.

All completed quests are streamed here: #channel
