sunglass
What does the sunglass emoji mean?
A chaotic blend of cool shades and uncontrollable tears for when you're flexing through the pain.
This emoji is a classic example of 'deep-fried' internet humor, combining the iconic cool-guy sunglasses with the pathetic, teary-eyed expression of a crying face. It is frequently used in Discord servers to sarcastically signal that someone is trying to act unbothered while clearly being upset or overwhelmed. It perfectly captures the 'this is fine' energy of modern digital communication.
When to use it
- Expressing fake confidence while feeling totally defeated
- Reacting to a roast with forced cool energy
- Showing off while secretly crying about the effort
- Mocking someone who is trying too hard
