📢 Anonymous Vents — Quick Reminder

Hey ! 💜 I just wanted to make a quick announcement regarding the Anonymous Vents.

There have been a few vents recently that have not been approved due to the nature or content of the vent. I want everyone to have a place where they feel like they can get things off their chest, but we also have to be mindful of the entire community and make sure what is being posted is appropriate for the space.

Going forward, if your vent involves sensitive or potentially triggering topics, please begin your message with:

TRIGGER WARNING - followed by a brief description of what the warning is for.

For example:
TRIGGER WARNING - Family Issues
TRIGGER WARNING - Mental Health
TRIGGER WARNING - Abuse

Please keep in mind that adding a trigger warning does not guarantee that a vent will be approved. Some topics may still be too sensitive, graphic, personal, or otherwise inappropriate for a community Discord, and those submissions may be denied.

The approval system isn't there to silence anyone or decide whether your feelings are valid. It's there because we have a responsibility to consider everyone who shares this space and what may be harmful or uncomfortable for others to unexpectedly come across.

Please also remember that the Anonymous Vents are meant to be a place to vent, not a place to target other community members, start drama, make accusations, or indirectly call someone out.
