Update on today’s service disruption (October 20)

Hi! We know many of you came here looking for answers today. We’re sorry for the disruption and for the uncertainty while the issue was ongoing. Thank you for reporting what you were seeing and for your patience as we worked through it. 💜

The incident was caused by a Google Cloud network outage following a power failure at one of its data centers. It affected access to the Hostinger Dashboard, service API, Website Builder, Kodee, and checkout. Our team followed the provider’s recovery, restored access, and monitored the results. The incident is now resolved, and these services are operating as expected.

Websites hosted with Hostinger were not affected and continued to work normally throughout the incident.

I loved seeing you audit FixGuardAi’s own website, find real issues, and use the tool to improve it. I’m excited to see how it grows alongside the people building websites with AI!

🥉 3rd place — LectureLift — US$500

LectureLift turns recorded lectures into clearer explanations, notes, flashcards, and quizzes—helping students understand and revisit their own course material.

I’m impressed that you listened to students and focused on helping them understand difficult concepts, not just transcribing lectures. I can’t wait to see how their feedback shapes what you build next!
