**The game is set in the year 2035, ten years after events in the previous entry in the sub-series. **
You play as David “Section” Mason leading an elite team investigating the return of a dangerous adversary and a weapon that turns fear into a tool of war.
The campaign can be played solo or cooperatively, and takes place across varied locations — from the Mediterranean city of Avalon to neon-lit rooftops in Japan.
**16 traditional 6v6 maps at launch. Two large-scale 20v20 maps and a mode called “Skirmish” with wingsuits, grappling hooks and vehicle warfare. **
Near-future weaponry, an “Overclock” load-out system, and enhanced movement mechanics (wall-jumps, etc.).
The Zombies mode returns in the “Round-Based Zombies” style, with the story continuing inside the so-called Dark Aether and featuring the classic crew of characters.
The Co-op Campaign Pack at 15.5GB and the Warzone Pack (01.020.000) at 19.7GB. When considering these, the total exceeds 130GB.
