New Season Sand Team Analysis

https://pokepast.es/858ca8b1f879ec29

Breakdown of what the team entails, what changes are considered, and how the team feels.

  • Mega Garchomp
Rock Slide and Earthquake get a power boost in sandstorm w/ its ability, Dragon Claw to nail other Garchomps, and Protect for more staying power. Maxed its HP for staying power, put 30 into Attack to hit everything hard, then put the remaining four points into Speed so it out-speeds Scarf Garchomp using Tailwind.

  • Sandaconda
Designed to be as annoying as possible to remove, having Bright Powder (considering Passho Berry) as its item, Minimize for late game, Sand Tomb to punish Perish Trap/poor switches, Iron Defense for staying power, and Body Press to use the defense boosts for offensive power. Bulk entirely maxed out to ensure won weather wars and it won’t be removed easily.

  • Corviknight
Mirror Armor as an Intimidate deterrent, Tailwind for speed control, Bulk Up to build it up as a threat throughout the battle, Body Press to threaten bulky dark types, and Brave Bird to hit any Grass types wanting to threaten Rotom-Wash or Milotic.

  • Rotom-Wash
Fast support with Electroweb and Will-O-Wisp, Thunderbolt to hit any water type for big damage, and Hydro Pump allows it to threaten Sun teams alongside Mega Garchomp.

  • Excadrill
Iron Head to nearly guarantee an OHKO on any Fairy Pokemon, Rock Slide for spread damage into Flying and Ice types, Protect to ensure the safety of itself or its Sash, and with three-four ally Pokemon I can safely ignore, Earthquake instead of High Horsepower.

  • Milotic
Milotic would be an excellent addition to the team as another Intimidate deterrent. Current stat spread and move pool was taken from a preset from a damage calculator. Scald is okay, same with Icy Wind, but am considering Life Dew over Recover so I can keep my bulky Pokemon with no recovery of their own healthy. Unsure about Ice Beam.

I appreciate and value all advice given to this team. Other than that, have a nice day!

Expanding Force/Snow VGC Team Ideas

so i’ve been thinking abt making a mega alakazam/meowstic team, where meowstic sets up psychic terrain and screens as mega alakazam just sweeps

but they’re both pretty frail pkmn, even with screens so the next pkmn would be alolan ninetales, aurora veil gives some more bulk

then i would need another team mode, so you take advantage of the snow and put mega greninja to spam blizzard 🗣️🗣️🥶🥶🥶

next could add smth like sneasler for dark types like ttar and kingambit, maybe corviknight for tailwind and a pokemon that can actually take hits, but i’m unsure so i’d like to get some hep there 🙏🙏

stuff i need help with:
- EV’s for meowstic and greninja
- greninja moveset
- other pokemon to fill out the team

Roserade Rain Team Guide | Pokémon VGC Strategy

(the quality didnt look this bad at first...wow)
this team was made around roserade as a sutain fighter and support, the core around the team is rain and I had pokemon in mind that I thought would fit the team. archaludon does well into electric types to help with the water types being weak to electric. raichu and lighting rod is there to bait redirect electric type attacks that would otherwis threten the team. peliper is made for speed control and some offensive and decent support along side with widegaurd. primarina was the only pokemon I could think of that could rlly benefit from rain. hyper voice and mystic water hits like a train under rain! lopunny is jusst....kinda there ngl. I plan on replaxing her with another mega at some time, was thinking something like mega gyrados

Countering Rain Teams in VGC Team Help

https://pokepast.es/eafdca3706c02574 I have been using this team. I have realised that if there are 3/4 hard rain team, it is difficult for me to get rid of them. Torkol and charizard are good for the weather wars but I end up taking too much chip damage. Am thinking if there was a better way to tackle it that maybe I am missing be it though a different play style or changing a mon.
