Golisopod & Glimmora VGC Team Building Guide

Okay, so i was testing my Mega Golisopod + Mega Salamence team and notice 2 main issues:

  • 1: has a very problematic matchup into Mega Raichu Y.

  • 2: has a very problematic matchup into Steel-Types, mainly into Gholdengo and Archaludon.

So i decided to look for ground types to try solve these issues and decided to use Garchomp (Fun Fact:i've take something like 2 os 3 weeks to put Garchomp thinking that it wouldn't be able to OHKO Mega Raichu Y with Stomping Tantrum, when i runned the calc and discovered that i was pretty pissed with myself), since i'm using a TailRoom strategy, i decided to use a bulkier set with Rocky Helmet to punish physical attackers, this spread lives Jolly Life Orb Garchomp Dragon Claw and Mega Garchomp Z Dragon Pulse most of the time (12.5% chance to it OHKO). i'm not really sure if this is a good ideia but it was very usefull to kill my opponent's Kingambit other day, and since this would make team have 3 Dragon-Type with 2 of them having a 4x weakness to Ice, i decided to switch Mega Salamence to Mega Glimmora. I chosed because i've seen Mooxie Boosted saying that it has a good shot of being good on this format, so i decided to test out, using a generic set, which is also good to cover for Steel-Types with Earth Power.

If you have any suggestion for this team i would love to hear it! ||@Teambuilders|| (VGC)

Building a Competitive Hisuian Samurott VGC Team

I already tried to build a team on him when the game launched back in april and after the first Reg M-A season i used some other teams to learn more about how the meta likes to play and now i want to try build a team on him again, but the few things he can do is threaten Basculegion, Delphox and eat easily hits from Kingambit, which ins't bad, but it is weak TO A LOT of the meta, charizard easily OHKO's it with solar beam, floette also OHKO's it with dazzling gleam, staraptor also OHKO's it with close combat and the list goes on.

I know that every pokemon (except charizard Y because he can do almost anything) have it's weakness, but what he can do (at least in perspective) is heavilly overweighted by what he's weak to, and i already seen some people saying that they were using Hisuian-Samurott and that he was doing well so PLS help me make a team on it

Pokémon VGC EV Training Guide: Optimizing Gengar & Krookodil

ok so i made this team just recently and i'm not worried about most things on the team just the EVs for empoleon and Gengar. i have confidence in the EVs for the rest of the team but completely confident in the EVs for rillaboom and if there is any way to make krookedile bulkier on one side and as bulky on the other while having the same damage output and being as fast then please mention it. The main mon i want ev help for is gengar. i want him to outspeed timid mega mence by two points while still being bulky enough to stay on the field for a bit and do good damage.

Mega Mawile VGC Team Building Guide | Pokémon Champions

I'm competing in a league cup this coming weekend, and I think Mawile could be a really effective mega to bring in a world of psyspam, Ttar, and Garchomps. How does my team look? It's semi-balanced with a TR mode, with nasty plot farig and fairy feather sylveon dealing tons of damage. Two fairy types seems off a little, but I originally used Golurk over Mawile and it had too many weaknesses. This way I don't need to bring Mawile if I want fairy coverage, say against something like Archaludon. Offensive incin, mawile, farig is a really solid core, and I have Ychu to add some burst damage/alternate speed control, with Garchomp to help against opposing Ychu and Harc. The team seems solid in theory, but I'm not sure if I have the right structure to make Mawile truly shine (which I think it can, based on my testing). Any thoughts/help would be appreciated!

Mastering VGC: Competitive Pokémon Team Building Advice

https://pokepast.es/857035d5c5110c3f

This is the base of my new team, I don't know what megas to use or what else to use with those pokémon, I chose Farigiraf because I always struggle with Trick Room and a lot of people like playing fast (Garchomp Z, Raichu Y etc...) I am open to suggestions, I like this "balance" core, the moves can be changed to make the team better, the ev spreads were taken from top players but we can work on those too! I am aiming for champion tier btw.

Pokémon VGC Team Building Help: Indeedee & Torkoal Core

So the surprise factor of my team is the scarf after you Indeedee male with torkoal.

Indeedee mainly baits kingambit, gholdengo and rillaboom which are food for torkoal eruption.

I am looking to complete the team with 1 trickroom setter (I am thinking of farig with thunderbolt to ko peli with give me trouble with wide guard, modest farig ohko most bulky peli) and 1 trickroom sweeper to put less burden on Indeedee and 1 mega pokemon

The last pokemon has to be something which is fast so I don't rely on trickroom much and has to be super good into incin, archaludon and t-tar as they may deny the trickroom or can give my team a lot of trouble.

Atlast, I don't know why but I am not comfortable with using any mega and most of the times I bench my mega bcuz my non mega are much better on most matchups.
Any help for that ?
