Getting back into VGC after a short break, I played champions at launch but dropped until recently, while its not a mandatory focus I would like to play a team core that can include M Eelektross, would appreciate any advice or knowledge on what pairings play into it and or what team I could be running to achieve the best results with it at this point in time (I do have VGC experience prior playing from SWSH through Reg I SV, so I dont need a coach so much I do a meta breakdown/team suggestion)

quietcomet-33

The meta currently consists alot of weather teams because of the addition of the weather rocks

quietcomet-33

electross mega has a good ability: a combination of levitate and moxie special attack version

quietcomet-33

you should be able to be safe from swampert except for the rare occasion of gravity sabeleye

quietcomet-33

also it increases highest stat sry

@quietcomet-33 you should be able to be safe from swampert except for the rare occasion of gravity sabeleye

So with that said would you suggest I pair it into a rain team to take advantage of something like 100% accurate thunders or a sand team to play it into a pair up with an EQ sweeper like Exca or Garchomp?

niftyivory-43 OP

Unless theres some kind of structure to it im just unaware of and a weather team is unbecoming

niftyivory-43 OP

Hmmm, ok those are good notes, I'll start getting some team drafts

So after taking notes, I wound up with this offense focused set

I added Sab and Swamp as potential weather control into a bad matchup, and felt that while Raichu was useful I wasnt finding its niche as a potential second mega very appealing since neither of its mega abilities spoke to me as far as composition went, so instead I chose Milotic to cover intimidate leads and incin over snarl simply because I value the fake out utility a lot if my sweeper is on a beast boost adjacent ability

niftyivory-43 OP

Notably im on skill swap sab for ladder to deal with mega raptor, but I would probably swap it out for recover or something in the like for tournament play

niftyivory-43 OP

Hmm I'll keep that in mind then
