Hey, peeps!

This team very comfortably brought me to Master Ball and has kept me at ~75k ranking with little actual effort.

Yes, it might have come to be because I got shiny Camerupt and am a smoker, but I am truly enjoying it :p

Camel hit kills even max HP Zard Y, since they are soooooo keen on surviving rock slide specifically, and sheer power heat wave is a hell of a drug even if I don't get to click eruption due to chip.

Torkoal gets the usual earth power instead of megarupt, and since it tanks physical hits rather well, ends up being a nice boon vs Sneaslers and the such. Setting sun is icing on the cake for weather wars.

The giraffe is goated, little to discuss there apart from the helping hand which can be clutch to break through bulky sets, though only one attacking move does leave it wiiiiide open to dark type counters.

No steel move Kingambit sometimes stings, but low kick is rather nice to weaken bridge dragon and the mirror match. Willing to hear feedbacks on this dude.

Megawile is absurd, what a cute nuke in my favorite typing combo. It is quite regular for me to open with him, protect with no mega, switch out and bring back for extra intimidate on teams that can't punish it. Sets up really unfair late games with the king, since they both run sucker and create "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situations.

Sinitscha is, in theory, really dope. In practice, I rarely find slots to really bring it in the 4 mons, even though it is the secondary setter and a really nice support. Thoughts on making it spiritual guide monkey? I have been avoiding this switch due to guru being a second normal/psychic, but in terms of getting rekt by dark type moves, they're pretty similar.

Looking forward to suggestions 😄 Mainly on EV spreads and the tea vs guru situation, but all are welcome.

The only thing this is missing is a way to guarantee tr gets set up. Considering the amount of all out attackers you have why not swap gambit for a fake out user or final gambit raptor

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Gambit for offensive wrestler cat, for example?

quickjester-17

Also as another note I really prefer heat wave / earth power /ancient power /protect
Then have torkoal have solar beam over earthpower

quickjester-17

Better for stab boost

@sharpdolphin-43 Gambit for offensive wrestler cat, for example?
quickjester-17

Kangaskhan fake out / last resort is imo the best fake out for trick room

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Thanks for the food for thought, Astrid! Given your experience, would you still favor Sinistcha over Oranguru?

sharpdolphin-43 OP

I am VERY aware they fit very different niches as secondary setters.

quickjester-17

They do and I like having sini specially with Mawile. As this version of TR is more keep the big hitter alive or defend the queen type

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Lovely. To finish up, any specific spreads you would recommend? Hard TR is very forgiving on lazy calcers lol

quickjester-17

I always just dead even split the defense spdef on sini for 17/17
The farig is fine so is everyone else. Only thing is make sure you don't have any speed ties like maw and gambit

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Thank you very much. I really do like the Kang suggestion, fits the hyper aggro vibe super well.

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Ah, the movesets for camel and turtle as well. Those were clutch.

quickjester-17

Oh and uh jf you want a interesting Mon to consider look into Clawitzer

quickjester-17

It does a ton of damage
32 SpA Life Orb Mega Launcher Clawitzer Dark Pulse vs. 32 HP / 17 SpD Farigiraf: 190-224 (83.7 - 98.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Would you say it is a strong option into the mirror?

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Hehe, yup, that looks like it

quickjester-17

Yep

quickjester-17

32 SpA Life Orb Mega Launcher Clawitzer Water Pulse vs. 32 HP / 32 SpD Incineroar: 159-190 (78.7 - 94%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Also rather nice under rain, the vibes feel like a close to 1HKO on megapert.

quickjester-17

32 SpA Life Orb Mega Launcher Clawitzer Water Pulse vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Swampert-Mega in Rain: 133-157 (76 - 89.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Clean 2HKO into pert, incineroar, gambit with berry... Neat suggestion.

sharpdolphin-43 OP

No berry gambit just gets deleted

quickjester-17

It also nukes sand teams

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Hitkills megatar and cleanly 2 hits chopletar

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Yeah, you're cooking.

quickjester-17

I giga brain team building and then fall flat reading

sharpdolphin-43 OP

A tale as old as time, that's how we got BKC in singles

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Though after 20+ years, dude started reading at high school level

sharpdolphin-43 OP

Thank you very, very much 💚 time to lose some ranking while testing stuff out for a small Bo3 OTS event on Saturday.

quickjester-17

Lmao go get em
