Pokémon VGC Team Building Help: Volcarona & Golisopod Tips

Id like any advice about sets, or possible different directions the team could go in, like should I switch any moves, items, stat spreads, etc. Also should I use different megas? Overall though Id also like to know whether or not its fine as is. Any opinions are much appreciated.

Ill really take any help, i kinda already have an idea I just wanna know if theres anything I should tweak
What's the idea
Well volcarona pairs well with rillaboom, as a setup mon, it can be a real threat after getting one or two quiver dances up
Rilla for obvious reasons
Pawmot cause I like him and he counters some big meta threats
Then golisopod paired with aurora veil can protect him from some fire moves and in general makes the team tankier
Not sure about salamence though
Overall I dunno if the team really synergizes enough or not, but it has some of the stronger new mons added in M-C and has some decent strategies
Ill say though originally I had armarouge and indeedee female instead of volcarona and rilla, but psychic terrain clashed too much with golisopod and pawmot
So in general do you think i can make this work with minimal tweaks, possibly switching out a mega and a few other things, or do i need to completely rethink this?
No no I like it but the ways that the mons like to play seems to clash a bit, Goli is a wallbreaker and/or revenge sweeper, volc wants to set up, rilla wants to control the tempo same as pawmot
Ninetales sets up aurora and spams blizzards and Salamance is just a juggernaut

Like i said salamence was kinda just thrown on there because its strong new and common
I don't think swapping mance is that good as it is the best mega evolution rn and best with Goli as secondary
Should i change out any other mons? Tweak any builds? Like maybe making salamence a pure physical attacker?
I think mence should be played as mix attacker

And for the other slot hmmm
The reason I don't love A9tales is because mance is 4x weak to ice
And you give them a sure hit blizzard yk yea there is not that many ice types but still
I like having the aurora veil, but mainly having an ice type of my own for garchomp, dragonite, and salamence is nice
That does make sense I see the reasoning than we just have to make them work
I could use politoed tbf
Ive used it before on my rain trick room and have it as a shijy
Like that thinking as I also use it on my team
Its fill the ice coverage role and water type
Personally think its underrated
Rain boosted weather ball is insane and ice beam on it does great into all the 4x weak pokemon
I hate the toilet bird so that's why I am using it but it's growing on me
Fairs ive always liked the toad, and have always wanted to use a shiny one so it perfectly worked out that id recruit one
Its fun
One thing though about keeping volcarona, it synerigzes much better with ninetales as snow doesnt weaken its heat wave and aurora veil makes volcarona stick on the field
Honestly could be fun just making a rain variant with golisopod
Could work him into my tr room squad
Ive been hearing though that mega froslass works very well with pawmot, maybe i could use it?
