Quick update for this week:

1. We are very, very close to pushing a discord native version of the analytics. We are retiring the analytics dashboard for free users, but you will find the same data on Discord!

2. We should be able to push out a version of Spark that allows you to pick Gemini, OpenAI & Opus. If you are on the enterprise tier, you should be able to select the Spark premium. Stay tuned; we will make a decision soon!

Some quick updates on us

1. We are getting a lot of feedback on the moderation feature. There should be a v2 pushed out soon. Again, if you are an active, non-commercial server and are interested in using our moderation, it is free. Please send us a message or DM.
   Data looks like we are getting 75% more vs automod.

2. We are reworking our analytics this week. Part of our goal is to make analytics more accessible, so we are moving all the free analytics and a bit more to Discord. This means you will be able to run /analytics and directly see ur data without setup or $$. On the other hand, we will stop supporting the analytics web dashboard for all free users; Premium customers will be able to see all analytics on the web and in PDF.

3. Our internal plan is to continue to work on adding premium AI models for Spark after the analytics push.

4. Finally, we are rolling out a major revamp for emojis to help drive more traffic to your community. The core idea is to create a high-quality, dedicated page for each emoji in your server. These pages will detail the history and primary use cases of the emoji, alongside recommendations for others with similar styles and colors. Most importantly, these pages will prominently showcase your server's other emojis. For communities that invest time in curating unique collections, this update will give visitors a clear sense of your server's aesthetic and help organically drive more traffic your way.

Spark & YouTube Integration
- Spark Speed Issues: We hear you loud and clear regarding the speed issues with the premium version of Spark. We are actively looking into it and should have a solution soon! (Just for some background, we are waiting on Google to push a new version of the model to make it significantly faster).
- Schedule: You can now schedule Spark to update and resync your website, gitbook, github every week or every month!
- Massive YouTube Update (Coming Next Week!): We are in the final testing phase for a whole new suite of Spark x YouTube features!
(1) Auto-Sync: You will be able to sync your YouTube channels directly to automatically pull in your content.
(2) SEO Blogs: Spark will automatically generate an SEO-focused blog for every high-quality YouTube video you make. This will help you drive Google search traffic straight to your channel!
(3) Discord-to-YouTube Search: Users will be able to ask questions right here in Discord, and the bot will direct them to the exact relevant video or playlist on your channel.

🛡️ New Safety & Moderation CRM
We are actively building out a CRM system specifically for safety and moderation. This tool is designed for teams and offers extremely granular control. You will be able to:
- Assign custom strike values for different offenses.
- Use our analytics to proactively monitor chat or take automated actions.
- Easily manage strikes, timeouts, kicks, and bans.

Spark Update
We are resuming work on the Spark backend, but we already have a few exciting updates to share:

• New Web Widget: We built a web widget version of Spark that looks just like a Discord embed! The goal is to help you seamlessly drive more users from your website straight into your Discord server.

Quick Announcement: The Spark Website Widget is OUT! 🚀

We are officially launching the Alpha version for our Premium customers! This is a major update, so here is a quick overview of what’s dropping:

🤖The Same AI Support Bot: Just paste two lines of code and the widget shows up on your site. It functions exactly the same way as Spark in Discord. You can set up custom agents, tweak the styling, and it pulls knowledge directly from your website or Discord.
📊 Deep Analytics & "Content Gaps": We are pushing out major checkout and website analytics. You'll know exactly what questions your users are asking and where they are getting confused. We'll also highlight questions people are asking that don't have documentation yet (we call this a "Content Gap"). More, we're giving you AI tools to automatically fill those gaps right on your webpage.

🆓 Update for Free Spark Users: We are expecting to launch a free version of the website widget, too! We're currently evaluating different AI models to make this sustainable to provide for free. You will also get access to similar analytics to see what your community is asking and what they want. More info on this in the future!

What’s next for Spark?
The next step is providing premium models for our premium customers. We're currently running internal testing to optimize these models and let you choose the best fit. We're doing the same testing for our free customers—we fully expect to support free communities with unlimited chat.

We are also pushing out the LLM Evaluation. If you don't know what that is, it’s simply a tool that lets you automatically see which AI model fits your specific community the best.

Finally, a few more updates in the pipeline:

🏷️ First, we will let you select a couple of tags and automatically generate a custom prompt.
📺 Second, we are actively working on a YouTube Channel Integration! Here is what you can expect:
If you own the videos, you can transcribe them at scale. Your transcripts will feed directly into Spark's knowledge base, so when people ask questions, we can direct them straight to your YouTube video for the answer. You can also auto-publish summarized versions of your videos with direct links. Really popular creators spend a ton of resources building out their own websites to do this—we are going to automate it for you.

  We’ve cleaned up the ban logs and improved our analytics to better capture suspicious user data. We also squashed a few bugs that were allowing users to circumvent the verification process, keeping your communities safer.

What we've shipped:

🛡️ Safe-Gate for Server Listing
You can now safe-gate your community on our server listing. When enabled, we require users to log in with their Discord account — and if they've been consistently banned across multiple servers, we'll hide your invite link from them. You'll also get comprehensive analytics on how many flagged users we're filtering out.

🎬 YouTube Integration
Drop in a YouTube link and we'll automatically convert it into a transcript. Coming soon on our Premium plan: select an entire playlist from a channel and enable automatic syncing. This feature was born from a suggestion by one of our Premium communities — and honestly, it's something we've wanted to build for a while.

Focus for this week:

This week we've been heads-down on backend improvements — building out better internal tooling to handle issues faster and level up our customer support.

Here's some additional upcoming features:

• YouTube Channel Syncing — Full channel-level support with automatic, scheduled syncing for both websites and YouTube, so your content stays up to date without lifting a finger.
• Server Listing Tags — Once our backend upgrades are in place, we're turning our attention back to server listing. The focus: smart tags for community servers. We've already shipped a version for emojis where our algorithm automatically generates clusters of emoji types — we'll be applying that same algo to power the new server listing tags.
