Tropical Cyclones
-
An extratropical cyclone is a large common type of cyclone that is responsible for most precipitation on Earth (or in SebWithAura's World).
-
Wind shear is different wind directions and speed in different heights of the atmosphere, which can disrupt a cyclone's structure.
Tropical Storm Julia: This system, while well defined, has a bit of wind shear affecting the circulation of the storm. It is a bit more time to become a weak hurricane before landfall.
- Wind Speed: 65 mph (104 kmh)
Tropical Depression Keres: This system has made landfall and weakened back to a Tropical Depression. While the cold front from the extratropical cyclone has weakened, the storm will now likely become a remnant low soon.
- Wind Speed: 35 mph (56 kmh)
- Casualties: 3
Other Weather
- Frostlands: A large extratropical cyclone is expanding and pushing its clouds towards the north. Prepare for impacts.
- Stormy Cliffs: Rainfall is expected to continue for DAYS. Landslides and extremely wet conditions are imminent. Take shelter.
