Welcome to The Garden Behind the Mask, Holme’s verified gallery of cosplay, costuming, character makeup, masks, armor and transformative fashion.

Create a new post for each costume or character. Your opening post must contain at least one image. Tell us about the character, concept or craft behind your transformation, and credit costume makers, photographers and artists where applicable.

🏷️ Choose your tags carefully

Select tags that identify:

• The kind of creation being shared.
• Whether it is finished or still in progress.
• Whether you welcome compliments, constructive critique or quiet viewing.
• Whether members must ask before entering your DMs.

✨ The default reaction means:

“I appreciate this creation and its presentation.”

It is not automatically flirtatious and never grants permission to DM.

• Share only images you own or have permission to post.
• Keep all creations within Holme’s SFW standards.
• Respect the author’s selected feedback and DM-boundary tags.
• Offer critique only when the author has invited it.
• Never ridicule someone’s appearance, body, skill or chosen character.
• Do not repost another member’s photographs outside Holme.
• Cosplay is not consent, and admiration creates no entitlement.
