Lebanon Debate: Hezbollah and the 2000 Liberation

Summary

In r/Lebanon, members debate whether Hezbollah supporters focus too heavily on the 2000 liberation of South Lebanon when assessing later decisions. The post questions Hezbollah’s involvement in the Gaza war, arguing it was a costly conflict unrelated to Lebanon and one the group could not win.

People are stuck in 2000

All these hezb supporters are stuck in the year 2000 where hassan liberated South lebanon(thats a very good image for him and he was actually loved at that time by most lebanese) but now people refuse that he did so many mistakes after and his biggest mistake ever is joining a war he cannot win and isn't related to lebanon(gaza oct 7 war). They cannot see this as a mistake from hassan because well he liberated lebanon 25 years ago. 3a rase w 3ayni that's very brave and good of him , but are they going to ignore everything else??
