⚠️ SCAM ALERT: Fake "$PAWNS token" claim
Hey Pawns.app community! Scammers are posting fake announcements here about an "official $PAWNS token" and a "claim" page. This is a scam. Please don't click it.
The facts:
- Pawns.app has no token. There is no $PAWNS coin, airdrop or claim.
- We haven't changed how payouts work. You only ever request payouts from your Pawns.app dashboard.
- Our only official website is pawns.app. The scam uses lookalike domains such as `pawnsapp[.]live'.
- The Pawns.app team will never ask you to connect a wallet, pay "gas fees", sign a transaction or share your seed phrase or password.
What NOT to do:
❌ Don't click claim, airdrop or giveaway links, even if they look official or come from a bot or "APP" account.
❌ Don't fall for "hurry, spots are limited". Pressure to act fast is a classic scam trick.
What to do:
- Report the message: right-click it → Report, then ping @Moderators.
- Block the sender, and turn off DMs from server members (Server name → Privacy Settings → Direct Messages).
- Only trust announcements in our official announcements channel and info on pawns.app.
