I'm 17M and I think my life is over. I would've gone to Reddit but it's all boomers there. I need advice from people my age.
I've been preparing for the bar entrance exam for 9 months and doing pretty good in mocks. I told my brother who's a lawyer too. I thought he'd be happy and maybe let me work at his firm someday.
Instead he got hostile and said he wouldn't pay for my education. He literally said law in my hands is a "lethal weapon". Like wtf?
I've done stupid shit before. I used to scam people for beer and crack with my friends. At 16 we vandalized an old-age home for fun. We got caught but my brother saved us. We only got community service and promised to stop. I've kept that promise but he doesn't believe I've changed.
During our argument he said he hated raising me after our parents died. There's a 16 year age gap between us and he's tired of cleaning up my messes. He said I'll be kicked out when I turn 18.
Apparently his will leaves me $10,000 and the rest to his wife or ex-wife. So yeah I might be homeless in 7 months.
My girlfriend broke up with me last week because I've become boring since focusing on school and law. I genuinely loved her.
My friends have abandoned me too. They only cared when I was the guy who could get them beer money.
I know I've fucked up before but I genuinely thought I was changing. Now I have no idea how I'll afford college or support myself. Making 50 grand in 6 months is unrealistic and YouTube seems like my only hope.
I've lost almost everyone and have no clue what to do next. Is there any realistic way to turn this around? Pls give me actual advice because I genuinely need it.
