AoN has been the gateway into Pathfinder for countless players. Its free, searchable rules make it easy for new players to learn the game and for experienced players and GMs to keep playing. While the site may not generate much revenue directly, it introduces people to the Pathfinder ecosystem, lowers the barrier to entry, and helps the community grow, all of which drive revenue to Paizo.

I also believe that the artwork is an essential part of the experience. The illustrations bring Pathfinder's world to life, inspire players' imaginations, and encourage them to explore the setting beyond the rules. Seeing that art alongside the game mechanics has led many players, including myself, to purchase the books, adventures, and other products that provide the full Pathfinder experience.

AoN is both a great resource for us when playing and while this is disappointing news, Paizo has traditionally been very receptive to community feedback. As Nethys says
'we would encourage you to direct it to Paizo -- in a polite manner -- either using their messageboards or sending an email to [email protected].' Please also note: do not debate this issue on our discord ,as your comments will be way off target! I will simply delete them.

A new version of the Guide to Organized Play: Pathfinder Society (v7.03) was just published!

Major changes:
Added Levels 13-16 to the Earn Income tables
Specified that Downtime cannot be saved up (accrued)
Revised guidance on players leaving the game early
Specified that the table GM does not distribute additional Hero Points from Glyphs they have earned

Weary of war and ready for home, Pathfinder Society agents make their ways back to their lodges, eager to see familiar faces and take a moment to breathe and rest before the next mission.

And we also have an absolute first. Join Erik or Jason for “13 Omens” a new rules-light horror roleplaying game set in our world, but beset by supernatural terrors. The game is designed to be played in a single evening and it features a shared bag of communal dice, to which more and more Omen Dice are added throughout the evening, to amp up the danger. This session will run a full three-hour adventure. This is a horror game; content warnings and safety tools will be discussed at the start. Character death is extremely likely.

For those who want a chance of survival Alex will be running SFS2 1-25 The Hollowed Shell in the peace and quiet of the board room.

Over the past year, numerous agents of the Starfinder Society have encountered a mysterious anomaly while traveling through the Drift: an artificial, alien structure unlike any starship or space station on record, that scrambles communication signals. This structure appears without warning and vanishes just as swiftly, and has proven to utterly confound starship scanners and magical assessment. Curious about this persistent anomaly, Venture-Captain Arvin has consulted a diviner and fellow Starfinder, Nykiti Lampadephoros, to determine the next known appearance of the site. Directions in hand, Arvin dispatches a team to locate and explore the Drift anomaly. This game is open to all. I am delighted to announce we will have some special guests from Paizo joining us running games at this year’s UKGE. Namely Erik Mona, Jason Bulmahn and Alex Speidel.

Erik Mona is the Editor Emeritus of Dragon, Dungeon, and Polyhedron magazines. He co-founded the Living Greyhawk organized play campaign and edited the Living Greyhawk Journal. After leaving Wizards of the Coast, Erik co-created the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and its Lost Omens campaign setting, founded the Pathfinder Society Organized Play program, and is the Chief Creative Officer and Publisher of Paizo, Inc.

Jason Bulmahn is the Director of Games at Paizo Inc, responsible for creating new board games, card games, and roleplaying games for the company. He is the creator of the Pathfinder RPG and led the design for its 2nd edition. He is also the publisher at Minotaur Games, creator of the Hopefinder RPG and other game accessories. He is a regular streamer on twitch and a gaming content creator on YouTube.

Alex Speidel is Paizo’s Convention and Organized Play Manager. Since 2020, he has managed the Pathfinder and Starfinder Society Organized Play campaign for thousands of players and GMs worldwide. He was also an organizer for the United Paizo Workers, the first-of-its-kind labor union which received the Diana Jones Award for Excellence in Gaming in 2024. He lives in Seattle with his husband, their two cats, and a hoard of dice.

The new 2026 RSP boons are here! RSP boons are GM incentives for running the 2e system line of games for the 2026 year and beyond!

You may check off any PF2e or SF2e game that you ran within the boon. Home scenarios/bounties/quests count as 1 check box for each, games ran at your local game store/RSP supported area count as two for each, and APs, content longer than a scenario, and any Paizo 2e content ran at conventions—like GenghisCon 2026—checks off three boxes per event.

You may start checking off games you ran starting January 1st, 2026 (yes, it is retroactive to any 2026 game), but you cannot check off two boon sheets at a time. For example, if you are still checking off the 2025 boon, you must choose whether to check off 2026’s or 2025’s version. Be sure to download these boons when you have the chance even if you decide to GM at a different year. Once 2027’s boons are available, no new copies of the 2026 boons can be distributed.

For the Pathfinder one, you may make a pact with a dragon to get a breath weapon. This pact may be shared with other people. As far as I can see, there is no restriction of how many of these RSP boon sheets you can fill out (besides one at a time), so go nuts!

For the Starfinder one, you can gain Additional lore skills and languages throughout the Pact world. This one specifies you can only have one copy of the boon unless you benefit from Tour Guide.

GM submissions for Dragonmeet 2025 are open and apparently spaces are going fast!

RPGs will be in seminar rooms overlooking the river. Pre booked gaming ends at 18:00. Then the rpg team clock off. Game rooms can be used until 22:00.

Last year at the Novotel in Hammersmith PFS had a room with six tables. This year at Excel we can have ten, but they will put other games in there as well if we cannot fill all ten tables a session.

RPG slots: 9am to 13;00, 14:00 to 18:00

Free entry for gms who run a 5+ player game for 4 hours. The new SFS scenarios with their shorter run times will still qualify, but PFS2 Quests might not.

They are working on using a different entrance for gms from the main one.

We are looking for both PFS and SFS GMs.
