JRNY Token Update: Audit, Claims, Burns

$JRNY TOKEN UPDATE

We're currently finishing up the token contract and getting it audited. Once this is completed, we will be good to launch.

Over the next couple of weeks we will be releasing more info on the token and adding new sections to the website.

TOKEN TAX AND BURNS

The token will include a 5% swap tax that will go towards burning both JRNY CLUB NFTs and $JRNY token. The contract will automatically acquire and burn NFTs with ETH from accumulated fees.

This will work similarly to the NFT strategy tokens, but with different mechanics.

TOKEN CLAIMS

There will be a set amount of $JRNY you can claim for each PFP NFT in the ecosystem. JRNYERS will have the highest claim per NFT. There will also be claims for JRNY EARN participants. Claims for Archer rewards will start at a later time since it's on Solana.

Exact amount of tokens per NFT will be announced later. JRNY CLUB NFTs will have token staking in the future and we're working on doing this for Planet XOLO and FUKU as well.

**TOKEN AUCTION
**
We could potentially be doing a token auction before TGE with 100% of the auction proceeds going straight to the Uniswap liquidity pool. This is a new platform feature that Uniswap recently introduced and is a promising way for projects to bootstrap their liquidity pool at launch. Not confirmed yet, but we'll post more details leading up to TGE.

We aren't taking any VC investments and won't be doing any form of traditional ICO! Beware of any scams leading up to the TGE.

TOKEN UTILITY

The $JRNY token will have various utility throughout the ecosystem. To kick things off, we will be minting the new FUKU Pixel collection and the new IP collection with $JRNY. We will also have a reserve of tokens for Otherside/metaverse rewards and activations, community contributions, avatars and wearables, and more.

WEN TGE

We will have a better estimate on launch timeline once the token contract audit is completed. As of right now we're looking at mid-end April if everything stays on track. We'll be posting regular updated leading up to the TGE!

FIRST OF ITS KIND

The $JRNY token will be the first of its kind and unlike traditional NFT ecosystem tokens, the token will actually be used within the ecosystem and have built in burn mechanics.

Stardust claims, JRNY Pass reveal, and other functions will be added over the next couple of weeks. You can currently manage your stardust and reveal passes in the member dashboard. Once these new pages are live, we will be discontinuing the member dashboard to keep everything within the main JRNY CLUB website.
