Gengar vs Tyranitar Team Discussion
I think the concept of using gengar to punish ttar's answers seems solid, but I can't come up with a structure that actually works

Expanding Force/Snow VGC Team Ideas
so i’ve been thinking abt making a mega alakazam/meowstic team, where meowstic sets up psychic terrain and screens as mega alakazam just sweeps
but they’re both pretty frail pkmn, even with screens so the next pkmn would be alolan ninetales, aurora veil gives some more bulk
then i would need another team mode, so you take advantage of the snow and put mega greninja to spam blizzard 🗣️🗣️🥶🥶🥶
next could add smth like sneasler for dark types like ttar and kingambit, maybe corviknight for tailwind and a pokemon that can actually take hits, but i’m unsure so i’d like to get some hep there 🙏🙏
stuff i need help with:
- EV’s for meowstic and greninja
- greninja moveset
- other pokemon to fill out the team

Roserade Rain Team Guide | Pokémon VGC Strategy
(the quality didnt look this bad at first...wow)
this team was made around roserade as a sutain fighter and support, the core around the team is rain and I had pokemon in mind that I thought would fit the team. archaludon does well into electric types to help with the water types being weak to electric. raichu and lighting rod is there to bait redirect electric type attacks that would otherwis threten the team. peliper is made for speed control and some offensive and decent support along side with widegaurd. primarina was the only pokemon I could think of that could rlly benefit from rain. hyper voice and mystic water hits like a train under rain! lopunny is jusst....kinda there ngl. I plan on replaxing her with another mega at some time, was thinking something like mega gyrados

https://pokepast.es/ebf84e86664c777d
built this core(basc is not included), it functions really well for me, any reccomendations? id like to add a out of trickroom mode for this, and i cant think of any mons to add really, i know that sinistcha and gambit function good outside trick room, but idk whatelse to add, basculegion is adjustable, i dont see the need for torkoal really.
Countering Rain Teams in VGC Team Help
https://pokepast.es/eafdca3706c02574 I have been using this team. I have realised that if there are 3/4 hard rain team, it is difficult for me to get rid of them. Torkol and charizard are good for the weather wars but I end up taking too much chip damage. Am thinking if there was a better way to tackle it that maybe I am missing be it though a different play style or changing a mon.

level, ivs, evs, shininess, moves, ability, NOTHING matters. all i want is an alakazam that can be transferred to champions
idk what is a good return offer, im open to any suggestions, however i dont own any mainline pkmn games so pokemon go will likely be the origin for the pkmn i can trade

Mastering VGC: Building a Competitive Trick Room Team
I am a long time 6v6 Smogon player, not the best but definitely not the worst. I have a decent understanding of pokemon and have been playing VGC for like a month now? I made it to Masters pretty easily but the fact remains that I am still a huge noob when it comes to VGC in general. I am not good enough to build a team so I would really need some help from pros here!
I want to build a Trick Room Team with Mega Floette and a secondary Mega since Mega Floette is so easily countered on the ladder nowadays. I have been playing with Mega Floette for a while but I would always struggle with speed control teams such as Trick Room or Aerodactyl tailwind which is just EVERYWHERE atm.
Your help is greatly appreciated!
Raichu Team Swap: Weavile vs Mamoswine
I have a rendition of a raichu team Wolfey used. The team originally used Chien-pao, and as it’s not available I went for weavile. The problem is that’s weavile. Is there a better ice type in this format that doesn’t mega evolve or set up snow? Mamoswine is what first came to mind, but I would still like somebody else’s input.

Refining a New F2P VGC Team
Sneasler, garchomp, and rain archaludon can be big threats. Also I don't have a clear answer to trick room.
I admit this team is a bit random, but I'm a new f2p player with limited resources
Need advices for Mega Glimmora team
Hi guys, I'm new to VGC and I'm currently trying to build a team around M-Glimmora. Here's what I have right now :
Glimmora-Mega @ Glimmoranite
Ability: Toxic Debris
Level: 50
EVs: 2 HP / 32 SpA / 32 Spe
Timid Nature
Spiky Shield
Earth Power
Sludge Bomb
Power Gem
Very basic set, Timid nature to outspeed any form of Mega Charizard, and then it's just coverage and spiky shield.
For the 2nd and 3rd Pokemon I thought about Heliolisk and Corviknight. Heliolisk has a good matchup against Rain teams, he's a very good check to Basculegion, and he also offers speed control with electroweb. While Corviknight can check Garchomp, Excadrill, Sneasler and Tyranitar.
Heliolisk @ Magnet
Ability: Dry Skin
Level: 50
EVs: 2 HP / 32 SpA / 32 Spe
Timid Nature
Ally Switch
Electroweb
Hyper Voice
Quick Attack
Corviknight @ Leftovers
Ability: Mirror Armor
Level: 50
EVs: 32 HP / 20 Def / 10 SpD / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
Iron Head
Roost
Body Press
Brave Bird
I'm not sure about the EVs on Corviknight, I added 4 Speed to make sure I outspeed Sinistcha, and I added some SpD bulk for Floette Mega. Maybe I should consider adding Tailwind to him too ?
For the 3 last, I'm not sure yet.
I thought about adding
Farigiraf or Sinitcha with Imprison + Trick Room for the TR matchup, but I'm not sure that Farigiraf is very relevant in this kind of team tbh.
Then priority moves that helps me set up, so it's either Incineroar (could be good with intimidate, throat chop and parting shot) or Sneasler (good speed, extremely dangerous in the meta right now, dire claw status)
And last but not least, I thought about a scarf revenge killer, either Garchomp or Basculegion himself.
Sorry it's a long post, but if you have any thought or review to share to help me with this team that'd be great ! Thanks 😄
Countering Mega Crabominable in Sand Offense
I was able to reach Master Ball with this sand offense team, with the main core of Mega Ttar/Excadrill/Gliscor/Rotom being the most consistent members since day one of crafting it. Recent additions included Tsareena in place of Incineroar, as with its bulk investment it can always survive Dire Claw against Sneasler and is equipped with high base power/4x effective moves to OHKO Sneasler/Garchomp/Basculegion without attack investment while denying Fake Out, and Mega Glimmora in place of Sinistcha to better handle the Scovillain and Archaludon matchups. The problem now is that unless I outright deny Trick Room, which might be hard with redirection support, I will almost always lose to Mega Crabominable. I am looking for replacements for Mega Glimmora or another Pokemon on the team to be able to better handle the Mega Crabominable matchup while still not making me weak to Mega Scovillain and Archaludon, though the latter is easier to handle than the former.
