The Capitalist Ladder has seen a light refresh, with fresh-painted rungs and some dings filled in, it continues to be updated into the very best ladder it can be.
The Honeypot 🍯 was introduced to the server two weeks ago, and in that time it's claimed many a deserving victim. Say goodbye to those pesky bots, for they flew too close to the honeycomb.
Last, but certainly not least - a nefarious foe looms, beckoning all to his side. Who knows what this future event has in store for us?

It's been a heck of a month! We declared our winner of King of the Leaderboard: the ever kind and quick to help Nic, who managed to score a whopping 34,470 points in only half an hour with no suits or badges!
In news that makes our Dark Souls fans in the audience happy, Hard Reset has made its way in-game! No more will you have to reach out to support to start the grind over again, you can declare bankruptcy all on your own!
Locally, there's been revamps here on Discord to cut down on the perpetual spam with bots who latch on to "Capitalism" in the server name and start spreading the good word of scams.
Last, but not least, the Cashella rebalance has finally (thunder)struck. We had a bit of a hiccup earlier this month with the balance not being put through, but now it's here and it's rockin'!

The one that affects all of you, is that I'm making it so that one must, at minimum, have the Capitalist or Anti-Capitalist role to participate in any discussion. So, if you don't have your roles, go pick them up in the #✨-roles channel right now!

You must sign up to participate in King of the Leaderboard. This is so I have confirmation of how many people are participating, as well as the required information to track and subsequently send out rewards once all is said and done.
The decided event is Capitalist Cakeday, and the time and date that King of the Leaderboard is taking place is Saturday, April 25th, at 10:00AM PST.
If you sign up, please set time aside so you can make it! And remember, even if you don't hit the top three, you get to pick almost any suit as a reward for participating!
Scheduling issues ended with our latest run of King of the Leaderboard being cancelled, so I'm running it back and will be scheduling this one on the weekend, to ensure it's accessible to as many people as possible.
In case you don’t know what King of the Leaderboard is - it’s a no holds-barred 30 minute slugfest, in which all participants join an event at the same time and compete to have the highest score at the end of that half hour. No suits, no badges, just pure efficiency.
First, second, and third place take home 500, 250, & 100 gold apiece, and all participants get almost any suit of their choice - with suits like the Decadence Tuxedo being excluded from said rewards.
To ensure that everyone is starting at the same point when we get there, there are two major requirements for participation:
▶️ Have your game feed being shown in VC at all times. Discord allows for native screen capture, even on mobile!
▶️ Progress and event goal points must be at 0 before you start.
If you think you’ve got that special something to stand triumphant over all others, you better get those gloves polished, because King of the Leaderboard is on its way!
I will be running a vote tomorrow for everyone to decide which weekend event will be our battleground, and from there start accepting sign-ups via a submission form and lock in a timeslot for the event.

With this update the infrastructure for the new AdCap Shop has been implemented, which when fully implemented will allow any and all aspiring Capitalists to get their goodies direct, and at a discount.
As of this moment, the feature is currently limited to direct checkout for American, iOS users, as we test the feature. Keep posted for more news as we continue to work on the shop!
