This change will only be minor, the server THEME and LAYOUT will stay the same, but the direction of the server and it's audience will change. There may be some changes to SOME channels but not all, server currency, name, etc. Will still stay the same. I want to also note future events may be focused on or around this change, anime night and other events similar will still be active but not be as persistent, I will also begin a persistent Customs event for those who wish to join.

Yearly Prune

Hello everyone, I apologize for the mass ping but I have decided to start a yearly prune within the server.

What does that mean?

I will be going over members and when they were last active and removing them from the server. Once a year, starting today. We will also have a quota, if you have been inactive for a month or longer than a month, you will be removed.

How can I prevent myself from being removed?

Be more active. You could literally say hi and that's it. It does not take much.

Why is this happening?

We have goals set for this server and lately a lot (but not all) the users in here have not been showing up for me nor this server. I dedicated a lot of my time and money on this server, and will continue to do so. This server means A LOT to me and it’s not just the people in it, this has always been a passion of mine to run my own community!

What are the goals?

Expanding and improving the server. We were approved a year ago to allow applications to join to prevent the server being listed as a private server, however we are pushing for Discoverability. It will improve the quality of the server, more easily accessible to new users to find us, and much more. Hello @Patrons / , I apologize for the inactivity, and the lack of effort I've put into this server. Life be lifing a little too hard recently. I will be working alongside with @Vani to rework the server. We thought the minor changes we've done so far would boost activity and for new members to join and stay, but it has not worked out. So we will be gradually changing the server, it's banners, icons, emotes, creating a mascot for the server, completely rebranding, and renaming the server.

We will be optimizing the server to better fit the gaming agenda for those of you who are still here and for newer members. If you have any suggestions for the server do not feel afraid to put them in the #💡「suggestions」 channel. We take any suggestions to consideration. ❤️

I'd like to add adult categories or a possible bot category to screw around with bots you all can interact with. If the adult category is implemented into the server, we'd most likely do age verification with everyone for safety reasons, if we go with the bot route what bots would you want within the server??? Final Changes

Good evening everyone. The poll has drawn to a close, all votes are final!
The server will begin starting today, to transition into a general gaming server. I will shift the focus from Apex to all genres of games. I apologize to those who may have wanted to keep the server as is, but the vote for change overweighed for no change.

I'd also like to apologize for the spam earlier, the user has been dealt with, and with that being said further safety measures will be applied to ALL CHANNELS. If your messages get flagged for any reason please submit a help ticket in our support channel!

Firstly, I'm very grateful for all of you who have stuck with this server for this long. I understand it's been a bit inactive but hopefully we can change that with each step we attempt to take to improve the server and comfort of our community.

With that being said. I am offering a Community Vote.
I've come to realize Apex Legends is a very small and specific genre to focus on for a server. SO. I'm leaving the option up to you guys what direction this server should take.

Do you think we should rebrand the server and turn Apex Plaza into a General Gaming server?

Questions You May Have:

What does that mean for the server?
- It means we would rebrand, change, and rework the server from the ground up. We will be turning our focus into all gaming genres instead of just Apex Legends.

What would change if everyone votes yes?
- Roles and Channels mostly. We would delete majority of Apex specific channels and roles. In turn we would replace them for other roles and channels you can access.

What would happen if everyone votes no?
- Nothing would change.

Why is this being discussed/voted on?
- As all of you know we lack activity, which is very crucial for a server to survive and succeed, so this is usually our priority along with keeping our members feel safe and welcomed.
- We have been informed that we are on the road for discoverability. What does that mean? That means if we acquire the qualifications Discord wants, this server can become more accessible to users on Discord. Which means more traffic into the server, more users, more activity, and much more goals for the future.

I'm here to let everyone know I've done an overhaul on the server.

New Channel Look

Channels have been reworked, such as style fonts, and category layouts.
Some channels that were not being used frequently have been removed.

New Channels:

• 🎂「birthdays」 You can now set your birthdays and let everyone know when your special day is.

• channel When you are inactive in a Voice Channel, you will now be moved here.

• 「🔌」self-promo All self-promotions go here, you no longer need a role to promote your social media. You will only be allowed to share content related to Apex Legends.

• 🏅「achievements」 You can now earn default achievements. There will be custom made achievements in the near future.

New Changes

There have only been a few changes but some additions including roles have been reworked and new roles have been added.

• channel Has been completely reworked. Grab your roles if you haven't already!

Leveling and Economy Upgrade

We have had an upgrade on our leveling system and economy. There are now more items in our new server shop (/item store), you can now earn roles, collectibles, and more via server xp/currency.
- Leveling is through @ProBot ✨ .
- Server shop is through @UnbelievaBoat .
- Max Level is 100, this may increase in the future.
- Server shop may update with new items.
