its just a business to earn profits tbh..colleges and uni's now focus on making their campus look more attractive rather then getting better teachers and things to give students a better knowledge

college is only worth it if ur degree is in a good niche..

that’s only good if you get multiple degrees or higher one like masters or doctoral
Suny colleges are non profit How else would they get the money to pay for the expenses to support your education other than raising taxes. Even if they do make a profit suny schools are owned by the state making the money instead going into other programs.

I don’t think college should be free bc you’re already studying for free up until high school and you don’t really need to go to college to get a job whatsoever. It just shouldn’t be as expensive as it is in certain countries.

i’m already part time w 2 jobs, paycheck is 400 bi weekly, 800 a month is not enough

No you don’t need to go to uni for skilled jobs, there’s plenty of other options to get a diploma. It’s just that uni is talked about the most so everyone plans to go to uni.

ur suny college is a no profit college owned by the state. your tuition is the exact amount needed for your education its not too expensive
NO PROFIT meaning it doesn't make a profit from ur payment it all goes toward the college operations
suny schools without aid in my state is around 25K, with aid 15k below that’s still a lot
