ToyBattles Patch Notes - 8/11/2025
Summary
ToyBattles - Free To Play releases patch notes addressing numerous exploits including trade unlimited item, server-crash vectors, team change and observer kills, multi-room join/create exploits, upgrade energy bypass, and host/non-host kicking. Backend backups now run weekly on Sundays to reduce database interruptions. The announcement also explains bug reporting channels and a Contributor Program for responsible exploit testing.
[SERVER]
- Fixed exploit where a non-unlimited item could be made unlimited via the trade system
- Fixed many possible server-crash exploits
- Fixed in-game team change exploit, respawning while in observer mode, killing someone while in observer or outside the match
- Fixed exploit related to joining multiple rooms simultaneously or creating multiple rooms simultaneously
- Fixed upgrade system exploits where an item could be upgraded without having the necessary energy
- Fixed exploit where the host could kick players during a match
- Fixed exploit where non-host could kick players from a room
[BACKEND]
* Instead of backend doing backup every day, possibly causing database to become unresponsible for a few minutes, i have changed it to take backup every sunday.
