I've done some things for the server on server listing sites, so we'll see an influx of people periodically. If anyone DMs you or sends a friend request without prior contact or consent in the server, please send a screenshot to us via the #open-a-ticket path. This is against our server rules, and these people are likely scammers. We want to keep the community safe -- so let us know if you see anything suspicious like this!

The server tag had a minor update, thanks to a nice unicode character that allowed for us to fully spell out CHꜴS. Don't forget to re-enable the tag to show support for the server!

Quick Update, to our @Beautiful Creatures!

First and foremost, some of you may have noticed the server icon and banner change again for the season -- I'm hoping you all absolutely love it and I didn't confuse you too much with the switch. 😅

Other important things I want to bring up/update you all on:

• @Anime Night is getting a new round of votes in! The Sunday time frame hasn't given the best turnout, despite a ridiculous popularity vote, so we're taking another revote! If you plan to attend Anime Night on a relatively regular basis, we'd love to try to accommodate the best schedules for you. Please make sure to head to #polls to take your vote!

• @Bookworms are in the middle of reading Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo -- and our lovely Librarian and book club leader @Smooshy has an awesome raffle opportunity for anyone who wants to participate -- check out #channel for more details or to join the chat.

• Standard roles are back to one basic color -- become one of our @Knights ✨ by boosting the server, and get rewarded with a special selection of differing gradient color options! Don't see the colors you're dying for? Just let us know what colors you'd like to add using our #open-a-ticket platform.

• HELP US PROMOTE THE SERVER! We've added some brief details in #bump-server on how you can help us promote the server, quick and easy! Just some bumps every now and then, and maybe a discord.me review. 🤔 Bring your friends, the randos you enjoy from games, etc. -- we'd love to build this community more, and your help is needed! We created the roles of the admin team to share responsibility in the server, all five of us admin hold an important part in making sure this server runs fairly, and that no one person (myself included) be exempt from the rules we established.

We Did Some Rearranging... 😅 Let's Talk About It!

• Attn: @Beautiful Creatures

Yours truly and @SADBOINOH™ have done some rearranging over the last week -- consolidating a few categories into one, moving some channels to more appropriate spaces, etc. 🤏 We've also set up a new bot thanks to our beautiful @Soph -- you should definitely check it out!

The easiest way to do this? Head over to and look through the channels we have available. You'll be able to see the full list of categories and the corresponding channels within, and manually decide which ones you want to have access to and which ones you don't.

While you're looking over your channels, you should check out #role-select and view the games recently added! We use these to help when people are looking for a group or trying to set up events based on games. There's also roles for different server-related activity, such as VC, Chat Revive, Question of the Day, and Server Events -- add what fits you to help stay connected in the server!

You'll also see a new role option at the bottom of the page for a bot-game called Hangry Games! This is an easy, fun game that you can join just by clicking the button in #hangry-games to join. When the game starts, it will automatically run through and post updates, and a winner will be announced each run. The role tag will help keep you up to date for when new games start, as well as if we do any events related to the game! In the future, we hope to add the auto-enroll option (premium feature), but for now -- join us in the fun!

The same bot also has some fun functions you can use in #pixxie-ƈɦǟօֆ -- where you can use pickup lines, start a catfight, give a marriage proposal (congratulations to @SADBOINOH™ and @Black Swordsman on their nuptials 💒 ), and more. Check it out, join us in the fun and the chaos!

Updates for all of you @Beautiful Creatures!

Name Colors

Have you noticed the colors of your name changing? With @SADBOINOH™'s holiday color idea, we continued the theme and changed the colors to an icy blue for winter! Members will now see a change in colors due to the changing season and/or holidays coming up!

Not a fan? Server Boosters have the option to select their own color in the server once they've boosted! We have a whole list to choose from and will periodically add more based on suggestions and time of year -- so if you want to have control over your own color, boost the server!

CHΔØ Tag

We had some weird things happen with the server tag disabling/enabling the last month or two (both boost and non-boost related, ironically) -- so just sending out a quick reminder that we do have the server tag: CHΔØ for you to enable if you go to edit your profile and go down to the bottom where Server Tags are present!
- Go to Edit Profile → Scroll Down → Server Tags → Click The Rogue Syndicate → Enable our tag!
- # (CHΔØ is CHAOS but we only have 4 letters we can use, so... here we are! Haha.)

NEW in The Annex!

Thanks to our wonderful, beautiful @Soph we have now added the Pixxie bot in the server -- where you can join us for #pixxie-ƈɦǟօֆ using commands like /pickup or /catfight and follow the prompts that pop up. We have a #hangry-games where you just click a button to join the game, and when the game launches you'll get the updates. And finally, we have sentence building, where we see just how ~~awful~~ great we work as a team to build epic sentences together, just submit one word at a time in #word-for-ⓦⓞⓡⓓ! (Punctuation ends the sentence.)

Important Update!

• For all @Beautiful Creatures 💜

It is with great sadness that we announce the stepping down of our wonderful Mickiess from the admin team due to personal reasons.
While we will miss her greatly, I want to emphasize that we always advocate for health and happiness -- and with so many recent life changes, the need to take a break and re-center is absolutely understood. We wish her the best as she navigates through this time. 🫂

In her place, we have the one and only @Littlepretzel stepping up from the moderator role into the admin position. If you didn't know -- Forest was our first moderator ever in this server. We're so excited to welcome her to the admin team, to keep our numbers odd for any necessary majority votes, etc. (Also, to not leave me alone with an admin team of only men -- we need a good balance, haha.)

For the next 1-2 months you'll see him in VCs and the chat channels, helping us to keep the community a welcoming space of fun, sarcasm, jokes, and just... what fits the bill. We're so excited for this new chapter!

Have you ever thought about helping around in the community?

We have #staff-applications open for new mods (starting at the training stage and moving up) as well as recruiters -- but we have other roles we'd love to add to!

We are also looking at starting a new Crisis Crew -- our go-to people in the time of a mental health crisis. This role is very serious, so I don't want anyone to take it lightly -- please make sure that you have the capacity to listen and be there for others if you consider taking on this role. While we do have outlets for stress in #the-vent-room😤 and #secret-secrets-are-so-fun (this can be fun secrets, too, not just the monsters in our brains) -- we also know that some people may need a real person to reach out to. If you feel you have the capacity to support others in this way, please reach out to myself or #open-a-ticket to request being added to this role.

"But, guys, how do I...?"

• Get my Twitch/YT links posted? We have the #live-on-twitch and #youtube-drops channels for automatically dropping live streams and new content into the server -- to add yours you'll need to 1) be active in the server (text or voice channels, doesn't have to be both), 2) ask an admin by opening a ticket(OMG, that's so weird, who'd have thought...)

• Become part of the staff? We have open recruiter roles as well as mod applications open in #staff-applications -- you will need to have 1-month in the server minimum to be a mod or have admin approval. Mods become squires (mods-in-training) for the first 1-2 months with modlite powers while they learn the ropes and show their worth. Upon a successful training, you'll be promoted to a Lord or Lady (we can discuss your name then).

• Help with events if I don't want to be staff? Great question, I'm so glad you asked. We do have our very own @Event Ops team that help with our hosting duties for things like Ladies Night, Guys Night, Anime Night, Trivia Night (if we can get someone committed to bring it back), etc. If you're interested in joining this team, just open a ticket and let us know what you'd be interested in helping to host. If the vibe is right, we'll add you right in. 🙂

  We are so glad you're here. This server is all about good vibes, good friends, and all things chaotic good/neutral (but not so much chaotic evil -- save the drama for your momma). Invite whoever you want that you think would also love it, we always love new people and there are (literally) plenty of channels for everyone.

A few touch points:
- Yes, there is server lore. At this point, I'm just going to make a channel for it and send everyone to it. 😂
- I am the technical owner, but I run this operation equally alongside my other @Dukes & Duchesses [ADMIN] >> @🩵Ⲙⲓⲥⲕⲓⲉ⳽⳽🩵 @SADBOINOH™ @Zangelo @Captain Carmit. We are the ones that discuss any major issues, handle your tickets, give the approval on things, etc. Any of these four people can help you just as much as I can, so please don't be afraid to speak with any of them. 🤗
- Alongside our admin team [above] we have a wonderful team of moderators that help keep things organized in the channels, keeps the good vibes rolling, help de-escalate issues in the VCs, etc. You can tag them if needed with @Lords & Ladies [MODS] but you may also see them around: @Littlepretzel @AwkwardxImproper @Viper, Dungeon Master @Mr Aviation
- It's a running joke, but it's also very serious around here -- if you have any issues in the server that you feel you need a member of the staff to step in on and no one is around?... Please please please please #open-a-ticket -- even if you're not a typer. Just open it and ask to be pulled into a VC.

We have very simple rules in this server.

• Respect is #1, both for the staff and for the members. We're all here to make friends, and we're all adults in here. Acting with basic human decency is a must at this point in life, and if you don't have that? We don't want you.
• Read the (digital) room, be mindful of others. While there are no explicit rules on acceptable topics of conversation, not everyone has the same sense of humor and sometimes some jokes can be triggering. Use spoilers (use two lines || with a space on either side of your text, use the spoiler tag on triggering photos, etc.) when necessary. Keep politics a conversation and not an argument, keep religion or the lack thereof respectful. We don't need to have the same opinions or beliefs to get along, so let's not make those things a problem, yeah?
• When in doubt, please refer back to #rules first and foremost, then tag the appropriate staff or open a ticket if you continue having issues.

Good morning, @Beautiful Creatures

Effective immediately, I am asking that no one discusses the Charlie Kirk situation within the server.

While political discussions are not against server rules so long as they remain adult — this particular event has a lot of people on multiple sides very upset (I say multiple because, unfortunately, there’s more than two) and I’d really rather just avoid it altogether. This way everyone can keep their opinions and not impose on others their beliefs. Regardless of what the man believed in and what conversation he had, a human life is a human life, and his family will be impacted. Please keep your thoughts on this to yourself and to your circles outside of The Rogue Syndicate, and let’s continue to promote the fun, carefree vibes that we all love to see here.
