The first day a group of friends decided that it was time for a better, healthier community.
To no avail, I'm still struggling to recover my previous profile. I have most things transferred to this one, and I'm doing one more hail Mary to recover the old -- but if it doesn't work, the @Kayla Renae profile will be deleted and this account transferred as the owner of the server. Don't worry -- no one has access to that profile anymore, so you're not at risk, but please make sure you're messaging me here if you need to.
After a brief hiatus (because life be lifing), we welcome back our wonderful, amazing, gorgeous @Awkward;𝔏𝔞𝔡𝔶 ℑ𝔪𝔭𝔯𝔬𝔭𝔢𝔯 to the server's mod team! For those who haven't met her, I found Awkward on another server. I loved her intro and instantly had to be her friend, asked if she'd be my bestie, and the rest is history. She joined the server shortly after it's creation, and has been a constant here. We're all so happy to have her back to being active and around, and extra excited to have her back as a server mod as well!
Although this is a community server and not geared just for streaming and streamers, we always welcome and support them! If you are a streamer or content creator and would like your page added to our Twitch and YouTube channels, please #open-a-ticket and let us know your name on the platforms! You might have already been added, so make sure to check the Twitch page if you've streamed or posted recently!
- # Please note: we do ask that you are at least minimally active in the server, when you can. Pop into the VC, join the games, or chat in the main chat. While we love to support, we also don't want this to be a catch-all for people to have their things advertised if they aren't active with everyone.
That is all! Thank you all again for the birthday wishes, thanks for being part of this community!

Just another reminder for everyone: if anyone DMs you or sends a friend request without prior contact or your consent in the server, please send a screenshot to us via the #open-a-ticket channel. We are still experiencing an influx of fake profiles mixed in with real people, so until we get our verifications set up, please make sure to practice some caution with anyone new adding you that you haven't yet spoken with.
Happy Sunday! Thank you all for creating an amazing community!

I've done some things for the server on server listing sites, so we'll see an influx of people periodically. If anyone DMs you or sends a friend request without prior contact or consent in the server, please send a screenshot to us via the #open-a-ticket path. This is against our server rules, and these people are likely scammers. We want to keep the community safe -- so let us know if you see anything suspicious like this!
The server tag had a minor update, thanks to a nice unicode character that allowed for us to fully spell out CHꜴS. Don't forget to re-enable the tag to show support for the server!
That's all! I hope everyone is having a GREAT Friday!
- # The Rogue Syndicate Leadership Team
First and foremost, some of you may have noticed the server icon and banner change again for the season -- I'm hoping you all absolutely love it and I didn't confuse you too much with the switch. 😅
@Anime Night is getting a new round of votes in! The Sunday time frame hasn't given the best turnout, despite a ridiculous popularity vote, so we're taking another revote! If you plan to attend Anime Night on a relatively regular basis, we'd love to try to accommodate the best schedules for you. Please make sure to head to #polls to take your vote!
@Bookworms are in the middle of reading Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo -- and our lovely Librarian and book club leader @Smooshy has an awesome raffle opportunity for anyone who wants to participate -- check out #channel for more details or to join the chat.
Standard roles are back to one basic color -- become one of our @Knights ✨ by boosting the server, and get rewarded with a special selection of differing gradient color options! Don't see the colors you're dying for? Just let us know what colors you'd like to add using our #open-a-ticket platform.
HELP US PROMOTE THE SERVER! We've added some brief details in #bump-server on how you can help us promote the server, quick and easy! Just some bumps every now and then, and maybe a discord.me review. 🤔 Bring your friends, the randos you enjoy from games, etc. -- we'd love to build this community more, and your help is needed! Thanks for every single bit of effort you give.
I will always emphasize how important our ticket system is to the community, and urge anyone who is dealing with discomfort from another member to please #open-a-ticket so a member of our admin team can look into the issue at hand. Do not hold it in or feel like you can't speak up, regardless of who the member is. Our members are our family, and your comfort is one of the most important things. We can help you faster if you let us known what's happening ASAP. 🤗
I think that's it for now... keep your eyes opened for new things, and as always, reach out to the staff team @Dukes & Duchesses [ADMIN] @Lords & Ladies [MODS] if you need absolutely anything. Thank you all for being such an amazing crowd and family. Now time to
ya know.
The Rogue Syndicate leadership team
Our Discord server, The Rogue Syndicate -- in a Steam group page! If you're not in the server, join us at discord.gg/the-rogue-syndicate We are a 21+ community that starts with gaming but reaches many different topics, including book clubs, music creation, streaming, crafting, etc. Most active in the VCs on Discord, with monthly server parties!
One year ago today this server was created — a safe space away from a toxic place.
We created the roles of the admin team to share responsibility in the server, all five of us admin hold an important part in making sure this server runs fairly, and that no one person (myself included) be exempt from the rules we established.
- # I am only the owner on technicality — this server was meant to be a we server for everyone, not a me server.
Over the last year we’ve had some changes to the staff, we’ve built an amazing mod team, we’ve hosted a lot of events and parties, and we’ve built a wonderful, consistent community of strangers becoming friends. I am so thankful for the people we have here in this community, for the chaos and the laughs, and I look forward to seeing where else we go.
Don’t forget to add our anniversary party to your calendar — February 28!

Please come join us in celebrating a year of existence, a year of friendship, and a year of... well, chaos. 😅
We can't wait to celebrate with you!
- # The Rogue Syndicate Leadership Team & Staff
On Wednesday Feb. 4, our Ladies Night will be delayed a bit, starting at 9PM EST and hosted by our lovely admin @Littlepretzel 🤗
- # I’ll be on an airplane home, so I’ll just post in the text channel.
Please feel free to pop in, chat, hang out, gossip, vent, drink, dab, whatever your top choice is. ☺️ It’ll be a grand time. 🤗
Yours truly and @SADBOINOH™ have done some rearranging over the last week -- consolidating a few categories into one, moving some channels to more appropriate spaces, etc. 🤏 We've also set up a new bot thanks to our beautiful @Soph -- you should definitely check it out!
The easiest way to do this? Head over to and look through the channels we have available. You'll be able to see the full list of categories and the corresponding channels within, and manually decide which ones you want to have access to and which ones you don't.
While you're looking over your channels, you should check out #role-select and view the games recently added! We use these to help when people are looking for a group or trying to set up events based on games. There's also roles for different server-related activity, such as VC, Chat Revive, Question of the Day, and Server Events -- add what fits you to help stay connected in the server!
You'll also see a new role option at the bottom of the page for a bot-game called Hangry Games! This is an easy, fun game that you can join just by clicking the button in #hangry-games to join. When the game starts, it will automatically run through and post updates, and a winner will be announced each run.
The role tag will help keep you up to date for when new games start, as well as if we do any events related to the game! In the future, we hope to add the auto-enroll option (premium feature), but for now -- join us in the fun!
The same bot also has some fun functions you can use in #pixxie-ƈɦǟօֆ -- where you can use pickup lines, start a catfight, give a marriage proposal (congratulations to @SADBOINOH™ and @Black Swordsman on their nuptials 💒
), and more. Check it out, join us in the fun and the chaos!
That's it for now -- but don't forget to check out the above post for the referral incentive!
Thanks for being here in this lovely community -- we appreciate every one of you.
- # The Rogue Syndicate Leadership Team & Staff
You may or may not have noticed, but the last few months I've taken a step back from recruiting for the server so that more people can come in without a set point-of-contact, and we can grow a little more organically...
But here's the thing...
I need your help.
So! I'm going to rollout a referral incentive from now until Valentine's Day (which is close to the server anniversary!) -- specifically, closing Sunday, February 15, 2026 04:00 AM.
For every people you refer, you will be added to a 🎟️ raffle🎟️ for a $20 Steam/Xbox/PS/Nintendo gift card.
- # New members must post in the #introductions channel that you referred them!
- # Raffle will be Sunday, February 15th - I'll stream it live on my Twitch, but post results here!
🔟 people referred automatically gets you a $10 Steam/Xbox/PS/Nintendo gift card -- as long as the members stay with us through the incentive dates and participate in either #chatterbox🗣 or VC
+ times.
NEW members only -- not returning members (although unproblematic returning members are more than welcome, of course).
🆓 extra raffle entry if you have our CHΔØ server tag enabled!
- # (Must first qualify with a referral entry.)
We love the community we've built, and it only makes sense to grow it with your help -- plus, who doesn't like winning things?
Don't forget, the easy invite code is just the server name: discord . gg / the-rogue-syndicate
(No spaces!)
All in preparation for our server anniversary party -- I'm so excited to celebrate with you guys!
Thanks for sharing your online space with us -- you all are amazing.
- # 💜 The Rogue Syndicate Leadership Team
Have you noticed the colors of your name changing? With @SADBOINOH™'s holiday color idea, we continued the theme and changed the colors to an icy blue for winter! Members will now see a change in colors due to the changing season and/or holidays coming up!
Not a fan? Server Boosters have the option to select their own color in the server once they've boosted! We have a whole list to choose from and will periodically add more based on suggestions and time of year -- so if you want to have control over your own color, boost the server!
We had some weird things happen with the server tag disabling/enabling the last month or two (both boost and non-boost related, ironically) -- so just sending out a quick reminder that we do have the server tag: CHΔØ for you to enable if you go to edit your profile and go down to the bottom where Server Tags are present!
- Go to Edit Profile → Scroll Down → Server Tags → Click The Rogue Syndicate → Enable our tag!
- # (CHΔØ is CHAOS but we only have 4 letters we can use, so... here we are! Haha.)
Thanks to our wonderful, beautiful @Soph we have now added the Pixxie bot in the server -- where you can join us for #pixxie-ƈɦǟօֆ using commands like /pickup or /catfight and follow the prompts that pop up. We have a #hangry-games where you just click a button to join the game, and when the game launches you'll get the updates. And finally, we have sentence building, where we see just how ~~awful~~ great we work as a team to build epic sentences together, just submit one word at a time in #word-for-ⓦⓞⓡⓓ! (Punctuation ends the sentence.)
That's all for now. We hope everyone had an absolutely amazing NEW YEAR celebration -- thanks for spending 2025 with us. We can't wait for the chaos we create together in 2026.
- # -The Rogue Syndicate Leadership Team & Staff 💜
The holiday season has been great, but it's almost time for FIREWORKS and a brand new FRESHHHHH year. So... in preparation -- here's the new banner and icon in their full glory. 🤗
We hope you all had a great holiday! If you happen to need a place to be on NYE, we'll surely have some people in here, so feel free to pop in! Maybe... play some... Golf with Your Friends?
Thank you all for keeping the community amazing.

WINTER’S EMBRACE: HOLIDAY ROLE COLOUR UPDATE

Sit back and enjoy the change ❄️🎄
|| ||

Mark your calendars — it's our big holiday bash and you're not gonna want to miss it!
Starting in January, we’ll be launching MONTHLY Movie Mondays to kick off the month with good vibes and good films!

👉 Sign up here: https://form.jotform.com/253352103298151
Our server tag helps others find us, and we’d LOVE your help.
🌀 Tag: CHΔØ (our version of “CHAOS”... we got creative 🤪)
How to enable it:
- Go to Edit Profile → Scroll Down → Server Tags → Click The Rogue Syndicate → Enable our tag!
Hop into our seasonal fun zone and chat with The Grinch and other holiday icons. It’s goofy, it’s temporary, and it’s a whole vibe.
👉 Just ping or reply to a character’s post to start interacting!
Let’s keep the CHΔØs merry and bright 💜 Thank you all for being here and keeping this place amazing. 🤗 If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to tag the staff or #open-a-ticket to speak directly to the admin. Let's end this year on nothing but positive vibes!
- # The Rogue Syndicate Leadership & Staff
Hey @Beautiful Creatures
This is a quick update but for the christmas holidays, go check out #channel for a fun time chatting with the grinch and some characters from the christmas holidays. Either ping them or reply to a comment to begin. Will be gone in the new year. Warning: He can be ruthless 🙂
Important Update! It is with great sadness that we announce the stepping down of our wonderful Mickiess from the admin team due to personal reasons.
While we will miss her greatly, I want to emphasize that we always advocate for health and happiness -- and with so many recent life changes, the need to take a break and re-center is absolutely understood. We wish her the best as she navigates through this time. 🫂
In her place, we have the one and only @Littlepretzel stepping up from the moderator role into the admin position. If you didn't know -- Forest was our first moderator ever in this server. We're so excited to welcome her to the admin team, to keep our numbers odd for any necessary majority votes, etc. (Also, to not leave me alone with an admin team of only men -- we need a good balance, haha.)
While we're talking about important updates -- have you seen the new server banner and icon? 🤗 See below for the full-sized GIFs.
It's official -- it's LIVE!
If you're interested in participating in Secret Santa in the server, please fill out the questionnaire here: https://form.jotform.com/253352103298151
We'll keep the sign-ups up for the next week before we distribute giftees to all of our Santas, so make sure to get your questionnaire filled in ASAP if you want to participate!
As always, we appreciate every one of you for making this community what it is. Happy December! Let's finish off this year with great spirits, yeah?!
- # The Rogue Syndicate Leadership & Staff
I'll be in, but deafened -- feel free to communicate with me in the side chat or DM me directly if you need.
This is... yes... one of my favorite animes -- season 2 is much darker than season 1, though, so be warned.
See y'all there at 7PM EST!
Updates and exciting things as we enter into December, @Beautiful Creatures!
First and foremost, I want to say CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to our newest Squire (Mod-in-Training) @Smooshy! She's already been killing it as she's taken over book club for the server (thank you so much!), and she's excited to bring more into the server and the community! Congrats, Smooshy, I'm so excited to have you on the staff team!
Speaking of which -- if you haven't yet, we do have a book club going, so take a peek down in #book-club-babyyy for what's going on.
I will also be posting some ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) lists for indie authors in #arcs-releases-promos -- so if you like to support indie authors, if you like getting books early, if you're a fast reader (can finish a book in 2 weeks or less) and can leave a review on at least one major website (Goodreads, Amazon, BN, etc.) -- definitely check this out over the next few days!
Our next very important piece:
We've got a group that is excited and ready to have Secret Santa -- but since we are worldwide, we don't want to exclude anyone.
We are looking at gifting games for Steam/Xbox/PS5, with a game range of $20-25 USD. (On Steam, you can select to "send later", so they don't receive it too early, but you can purchase when it fits your budget.)
If this is something you'd like to partake in, please drop this emoji down at the bottom:
- # (P.S. - Shoutout to @Princess99Samantha for the idea -- she's the brains behind it!)
That's it for now! I am so thankful for you guys and this community we are building -- it's always a fun time in here!
