I need all of you to treat each other with basic respect. you can disagree with someone. you can verbally spar with someone jokingly. you can give criticism. criticism needs to stay constructive. calling people losers, cucks, stupid, or dogpiling people is not acceptable here.

the star wars fandom already has a LOT of toxic people running around it. the world itself already has enough bad news and bad faith arguments. I do NOT want this server turning into another place where people log in just to argue, insult people, or take shots at people over fictional characters and opinions. you're all adults, please act like it.

If you don’t have anything nice or constructive to say, then simply dont say it. you dont need to comment on everything. you dont need to instigate shit.

this server is meant to be a safe place for people to write, hang out, and enjoy star wars together. but that only works if the people here HELP ME keep those standards and that starts with respecting each other. so if this keeps happening, I'm gonna start handling this a lot more strictly with warnings, timeouts and removals. I dont want to keep repeating rules that everyone already agreed to when they joined.

@Anj was officially moved up to admin today, shes already been helping with the server for a while now while i haven't been around as much as i'd like to when it comes to it, especially with character stuff and keeping an eye on the health of the community. this is mostl me actually making that trust official

so for everyone here, this means shes doing pretty much everything i can do with server concerns and general staff stuff when needed. like the rest of the staff, including me, she'll still ask for second opinions when something needs more staff input. while us admins usually get the final say, it's not without actually getting the thoughts of our helpers and staff.

hey everyone, small update.

thanks to everyone here for giving this server some life, and showing up and just existing here in general. it's appreciated more than you probably know, because that tells me that what we have here is enjoyable for a lot of peeps, and i want this server to be a cozy place for people to write and not have to deal with drama among other irl shit that's going on

now i wanna make this announcement mainly just to request us to stop bumping for now. this server was always meant to stay smaller and more tight-knit, and that's a big part of why we're doing so well when it comes to people's comfort levels and interaction. so, i'd like us to stop bumping for the time being so we can focus more on the people who are already here and the stories we're already building together. when things start to slow down, i'll give us a heads-up and let us start bumping again.

i appreciate everyone here for sticking with us and being nerds and being passionate and being all of that stuff in between. you're all the reason that the server's even alive rn.

Morning @Verified Member, as you may already know, every last Saturday of every month we host a end of the month event which pretty much takes us through a game night or a movie night depending on what's voted for.

this time around, we had a tie between doing a game and a movie, so the plan for the 28th of March is to do both. We're gonna play some Cards Against Humanity for around 40-ish minutes, and then watch the entire Umbara arc on the Clone Wars. For Cards Against Humanity, I wanna give you guys a heads-up for the people who's not familiar with the game:

It's pretty much a party card game where the whole point is just to be funny and edgy. it has a lot of shock value stuff, dark humor, sexual jokes, etc.

So that being said, you should expect stuff that can land anywhere from PG-13 to R to straight-up X-rated, meaning, generally this is stuff you don't wanna be saying around family members. What I'm not gonna allow is using the game to target people in the server and use it as an actual thing to promote hate speech or anything like that

If this kind of humor isnt your thing (or youre just not in the mood for it at the time), its totally okay to skip when we play. If you do join, come in knowing what that game's about and try to keep it fun and not personal or anything like that

the people who are getting removed are the ones who've pretty clearly shown no interest in the server at all and probably won't even notice they've been removed.

1. between now and 4/15/2026, im probably gonna focus on bringing in some new helpers, dungeon masters, or staff members as needed. i wanna make sure we have enough support so that rp keeps going, there's actual stories to write, etc.

anyways, that's pretty much where my head is rn the growth is genuinely cool, and im happy people wanna be here. thanks for showing interest. we just wanna make sure we grow in a way that still feels worthwhile to me and my staff instead of growing so fast that the server loses the whole reason i made it in the first place.

hey everyone, holy crap.

so, we've grown a lot, way more than i expected, and honestly at a pace that i know is way faster than some of us are comfortable with.

first off, thank you very much. thank you to everyone who's been chatting, rping, bumping, helping new peeps, and just generally giving this place life. the growth from where we started is sick af and it means people are seeing something here that they actually wanna be part of, and that means a lot to me.

at the same time though, i made this server cuz i wanted a small, personal, and tight-knit rp community. I do NOTwant this to turn into one of those servers that gets so big so fast that it stops feeling like a passion project and starts feeling like a thing we have to constantly manage just to keep it from falling apart because of the sheer amount of players that are in at one time. that's not the kind of server I wanna run, and I know some of my staff members who i worked on this with since pretty much day 1 feel the same way.

so because of that, we're gonna be making a few changes for now. some of these changes will barely be felt by most of you, but i still wanna be fully transparent with everyone:

1. we need ALL OF YOU to hold off on disboard bumping for a bit. not forever, but just for now. we need time to breathe and actually focus on the people who are already here instead of continuing to grow at the same speed. i dont wanna get too exhausted here.

2. over the next week im prolly gonna remove some members who havent said a single word in the server for over a month. so yeah, you can basically consider this a small inactivity purge.

   that said: DONT WORRY IF YOUVE SAID ANYTHING ONCE IN ANY CHANNEL WITHIN THE PAST MONTH. i dont care if it was a full convo, a random gif, or a period or whatever. if youve shown signs of life, you're safe.

Quick little reminder

If someone joins the server and randomly pops up in your dms offering art commissions, please report it to an available @Helper or @Server Staff and if none of them are available, get a hold of @Server Admin

Every once in a while this server gets accounts that join just to mass DM people with commission pitches and lot of these are bots or scammers using stolen artwork. even in the case where they aren't, unsolicited commission DMs arent allowed here. real artists are FAR more likely to frequently post in #arts-and-crafts and wait for YOU to DM them for commissions.

You dont need to argue with them or explain anything to them. As a matter of fact it might be better to straight up ignore them and not click anything for your own safety and just report it and let us handle it

Quick-follow-up to my previous announcement: since we've gained a few people I just wanna bump this. we're still looking for people who are interested in being Dungeon Masters.

players with these roles are allowed to create and run missions, events, and longer story arcs for the purpose of getting more players in the server to interact with each other outside of casual RP and that can be anything from a one-and-done smuggling/bounty job, to a Jedi teaching a class to Younglings, to an investigation, to underworld stuff, or even a multi-part story that takes characters across the galaxy. Basically at its core being a DM is about writing situations that give us players a reason to interact with other characters, and it gives our characters a reason to struggle, make choices, and grow.

That being said, being a DM DOESNT mean you can't be a normal RPer anymore; you guys would still be able to casually rp your own chars and participate in scenes outside of missions and even have your characters involved in missions (including the ones you're running) as long as fairness and player agency is respected. Other DMs are encouraged to give fellow DMs room to roleplay when they're participating as players, and running stuff does not lock you out of enjoying the server normally

If anyone's interested in being a DM, please reach out to an admin and pitch a mission or story idea you'd like to run and if it fits the server's tone/rules/scale then we'll most likely give you the role and collab with you to make something nice.

If you like writing plots and playing NPCs and setting up scenarios or giving other characters meaningful reasons to interact beyond casual RP then this role is probably a good fit for you

Dungeon Masters are the guys who build and run stories for other players. They work with staff to create missions, plotlines, and events, then post them to ⁠https://discord.com/channels/1447741933723058199/1447741935891775645 or ⁠https://discord.com/channels/1447741933723058199/1447741935178481864 for characters to join. When a mission kicks off, the DM runs the scene by setting the situation, playing NPCs, keeping things moving and making calls so the story stays fair and easy for players to follow

Think of DMs as:
* the ones writing the "jobs" your characters take
* refs during missions and events
* story drivers who give characters things to react to, struggle with, and grow from to earn cool things.
So, if you enjoy writing plots/stories and designing encounters or working with NPCs, or even giving other people things to do in-universe, this role is for you.

Expectations of DMs
* All DM content must be canon-friendly
* DMs do not change the state of the galaxy (no rewriting the war, toppling governments, killing/massively affecting significant canon characters, etc.)
* Create low to high-stakes, character stories that matter at a scale that doesn't dominate the Clone Wars.
* Major arcs should be communicated with staff before running (you guys get your own channel for this, #dungeon-masters-chat
* Fairness and player agency come first

How to become a DM
Just reach out to an admin and pitch a mission or story idea that you'd like to write. If it fits the server and expectations, we'll give you the role and see how you do!
