Краткое содержание
In Pokémon Champions | VGC Battles & Tournaments this thread discusses choosing a steel-type remainder for a non-weather doubles team. The poster lists Mega Delphox, Mega Venusaur, Garchomp, and Farigiraf and considers Kingambit, Tinkaton, or Corviknight with Rotom-W as the final slot. Conversation covers utility tradeoffs, Mega Scizor and Trick Room interactions, and strategies to beat weather teams without using weather.
I am making a Pokemon doubles team that doesn’t use weather. And I am having trouble on deciding on a steel type Pokemon
So far my team consist of
1. Mega Delphox
2. Mega Venu
3. Garchomp
4. Farigiraf
For my steel type, my options are Kingambit to counter intimidate and deal with ghost types, Tinkaton for mold breaker fake out and good defensive typing and utility, or Corviknight for another ground immunity to pair with Garchomp and set up body press
Then for my last pokemon it will probably be rotom wash but I am willing to hear other options
Well I’m using both
Because I want to use two. Probably isn’t the most optimal but I want a mega for Delphox’s bad matchups
I prefer not to use weather
Mega Scizor uh. I guess he would be a good steel replacing and in trick room. Unfortunately that means Incine is gonna do better and I won’t use Kingambit
I kill em
With the Pokemon I have
If your advice is to use weather, I appreciate it but I wont use it for this team specifically. Sorry
I wasn’t accusing you. I was just saying in case
Yeah. I’ll just have to play around it
Dealing with the threats
Using the Pokemon to deal with key threats
Yeah definitely
But I want to be able to beat weather without weather
Foolish and stubborn probably but still commenting I wish to do
I mean I could use Anine
Alolan Ninetales
I know
Wouldn’t fit either way
