OP
Through Christ, believers receive forgiveness of sins which are confessed and forsaken, and for which, as far as lies in their power, restitution is made. Christ dwells in the converted heart, writing upon it the principles of God’s law, leading the believer to delight to obey its precepts, and imparting power for such obedience.
