Subs and Degrading Names

Up until now you have been allowed the freedom to name yourselves whatever you please if you are boosters, as long as you are outside of the required 7 day cool down period.

This will now be altered to fully integrate with the server theme. As submissives you accept that your male counterparts are superior to yourselves and it seems counter intuitive to allow you to degrade yourselves and take that pleasure from Superiors. Greedy don't you think?

As such submissives will no longer have the freedom to deprive a Sir of the joy of degrading you. You may change your name if you are entitled to the boost perk to a NON degrading name if outside a naming cooldown but to be degraded...

You must beg a Superior in #beg for a name

The Hub Is Going Verified Only

To the family we’ve built here, we’re so thankful for everyone who’s helped build this community into all it is.

We want to share with you that in the coming days, the hub will be transitioning all servers into verified-only servers, meaning all non-verified members will be removed in the next couple of days.

If you’d like to stay and are not verified, please do so in the next 48 hours.

While this is a big and difficult change for us, as many of us have made deep and personal relationships here with unverified members, and while we also understand there are extremely valid reasons not to verify in regards to privacy, we unfortunately have no other choice.

While we have worked tirelessly at this for years, there has come a point where leaving unverified members in kink servers has become too dangerous to allow. So though painful, we have made the choice to protect our verified members by no longer allowing entry to the hub without verification.

We are sorry that this may be hard if some unverified members we care about, justifiably choose not o verify. It’s hard for us too. But we thank you for understanding that this is simply a risk we can no longer take if we’re going to protect the hub and its members.

Accident

Sincere apologies everyone, while in server i accidently, somehow, with greatly non existant wisdom... deleted the Hotel. Its already back and functional so you can resume use asap but unfortunately it does mean previous threads have been lost. I cant get them back.

Hotels dont count towards XP or Claim interaction requirements so nothing should be majorly affected.

Before opening new hotels please remember to look through the guidelines. Hotels will close as 24 hours of inactivity between 2 people. New members should not immediately be taken into hotels [Same sort of guidance as DMs and naming, Get to know members a little first] and dont forget, the best part of CNC is friendship.

XP in notebooks

Sirs and subs, please note that on July 23, entries in #notebooks will stop earning XP in the server.

As we’ve explained in the guide , XP is earned through RP and things that contribute to the theme of the server.

Notebooks have become a personal space for members that we know many of you value as a place to share passions, life updates, music, your poetry and more, and we love to see it! But we also acknowledge notebooks are not really being used for on theme or kink based thoughts anymore, in most cases.

So we thought about adjusting the rules for what should go in notebooks, to keep them on theme for another place to earn XP, but decided it was more valuable to let members keep their space for their thoughts as is without restrictions on content.

We hope you agree, and thank you for understanding.

So why do we bring this up?
Because while these feelings are understandable, and even though we sympathize with how hard it is to be new or quiet or feel not included, and even though we do our best as a large server to welcome others and ask everyone to do the same...there are proper ways to manage such feelings.

For example, you can communicate your feelings and similar experiences to friends for support, in fact we encourage you to. Sharing is how friendships are built!

But we cannot turn those feelings into public rants, accusations, claims that we're being purposely targeted or singled out.

We're not new to this, though. So while this is not the case the large majority of the time, we know it's not impossible it is. If you feel targeted, treated unfairly, or if rules are being broken, we beg you to open a ticket and express this to staff, who will listen, investigate and provide honest, third party feedback about what they see.

Sometimes staff may agree, sometimes.. not, but they will look at the facts without feelings involved, and provide an objective view of the situation, while being happy to talk with you about your experience. In fact, staff usually look at such situations as a team, weighing various views and observances to be sure no one staff is biased or providing feedback on a single reading or misreading of a situation.

All of that being said, once staff have given you a position, the next step is yours: either accept it, continue to work through it, and stay (which we're always rooting for!) or don't, and leave if that decision makes you realize this is not the place for you(It's okay if it isn't).

But a proper option is not staying while disagreeing, and using this space to take down staff or the community we have built.

We believe and encourage members to share feedback and opinions respectfully and in proper channels, and in fact we regularly make changes to the server and policies based on both public and private suggestions. But you can not spend time here bashing an institution while simultaneously expecting it to welcome you(that's silly). This community is unfortunately not therapy and it is not a support group either. It is a Kink community.

Being mean, dismissive and accusatory to staff working tirelessly for free to keep this space positive and lively for holding each member to the same rules and standards will not be tolerated. Respect is a two way street.

Remember, nothing and no one is perfect. Including us. We support you, we want you to feel seen, we want to help build connections and foster a community where everyone feels safe and welcomed, and we want you all to feel free sharing your tips, ideas, experiences and advice to improve this place for us all.

All we ask is that it be done through proper channels with appropriate respect. When we flood chats with criticism of others or staff, arguments, judgments, we ruin the community we all love. When we keep chats easy, calm and fun, and use proper channels to report or discuss problems, concerns or feedback, we create an environment where friendships, connections and kink can actually flourish.

Experience Entitlement

We’re so thankful this community continues to grow thanks to all of you, both inviting new members, welcoming new members who arrive, and deepening friendships formed here.

But with that growth, we’re also seeing expectations that friendships and relationships be formed immediately that needs addressing.

Every single person here, staff included, were new members at one point. And whether you’re here looking for a collar, friends, or just a community to be your kink self in, all of us came here looking for connection in some form.

Unfortunately, we can’t always get it exactly when or from who or in the way we want it. And that’s ok.

Connections take time. We won’t always fit in where and with whom we want. But we keep trying and engaging with the understanding that even when we don’t have what we seek in the moment, there are a lot of people here. And behind every name in this server, on your screen, is another human who has good days and bad days, outgoing days and introverted days, all of them looking for connection just like you.

Connection comes as we have faith and remain at it, remembering that along as we’re participating and treating others with kindness, not having the attention we seek when we want it rarely has anything to do with ourselves and merely that other people are people too.

Remember, we’re only the main character in our own stories. Not in others’. Though it’s easy sometimes in a server so big to feel ignored, forgotten, spoken over, it’s important it’s almost never a personal slight as much as it’s just people following their whims in a single moment. And we shouldn’t judge ourselves by watching interactions that are sometimes between members that have known each other months, years, sometimes even from outside of here or deeply from private spaces.

Of course, it's still valid to feel overlooked, spoken over, or like you're walking on eggshells. Chats move fast, and people gravitate to people they know best, which can understandably make you feel invisible when you're new or maybe just more quiet. And that hurts, because feeling include is a very human need.

But connection does come as long as we keep showing up, and staying reasonable, responsible and understanding with our expectations.

Someone of you Sirs may have, that you suddenly lost access to the verified sections and some voice chats. I wish there was some more interesting reason as to what happened, but it is only that I in my infinite wisdom and top tier admin skills deleted the Verified Sir role, hereby erasing all the permissions on channels to which it was attached. Please bear with us as We reassign you all your roles from logs and if by the end of the day, you havent been reassigned the new verified Sir role, please open a ticket and let us know. Only open a ticket if you were actually verified here, If you didnt verify, here, follow the cross verification procedure all over again. Needless to say; If you havent actually verified and open a ticket to get a verified role, you'll be abit sad, possibly publically. Ps : at the bottom of the screenshot you can see why I hate chefie

Joining Servers

Members, please be aware that Discord has recently made updates enhancing safety throughout the platform.
Which means that servers are getting yeeted out if they step on the line of their Tos and guess who is catching strays?
That's right, You. Proud Owner of 38 dead servers you joined in 2019 for emotes.
People are waking up to account strikes simply because they were part of a server that got shut down( especially when the shut down was with respect to child safety). The best part? These flags stay on your account for several years even after the limitation expires.
We Know many of our members have been sanctionned and flagged earlier today and even many more are still in ton of servers, often inactive just for emotes and similar.

We strongly recommend at this time looking through your server list and ridding yourself of any excessive servers you aren’t certain are safe, as unfortunately, the way you’re going to find out that they’re not is after your account receives a strike and/or suspension, and these strikes are scheduled to stay on accounts for up to 2 years.

Do yourself(and your account) a favor; be safe and responsible with the servers you’re in.

We are absolutely gobsmacked to see how many beautiful degenerates love this server enough to boost it this much. It's a tell on how much of us feel safe and at home here in our Cnc Club. Our hearts are so full they might need their own safeword .
Which brings us to a problem; We are officially out of role space.
Yes, you heard it right, We have gotten so much of your support that we ran out of room to praise you with shiny roles. Because of this, We are unable to provide any more custom roles to new members willing to contribute in that way and that makes us alittle sad .
After careful consideration, We have decided that the only fair way forward( without making new boosters cry) is to reshuffle the perk ladder so everyone can still earn them.

The Hub is Hiring

We are genuinely excited to open applications again for new moderators accross the hub. Our kink communities only thrive thanks to the dedication of the current staff teams commited to maintaining the safe, consensual and judgement free spaces we have where everyone can explore and connect to one another authentically.
Are you passionate about our communities? We are looking for volunteers to join our moderation team across various servers in the Hub to help with everything from introductions through to ticket handling and conflict resolution. Hub Modération in the hub isn't just about enforcing rules, it's about teaching, guiding members to a better understanding while upholding the rehabilitating spirit that define us. Even sanctions aim to allow growth, never permanantly exclude without cause.

Our prime candidates will have a strong affinity with the Hub, be knowledgable about protocols, active and friendly. We prioritise willingness to learn, good communication skills and good attitude towards moderation. As long as you have these we can train the rest!

We need potential moderators to be:

Consistently available for a period of time weekly. Ideally 1 to 2 hours a day,

Verified,

Clear of any Hub Sanctions,

Knowledge of the theme and rules associated with the server you apply to moderate

And of course commitment. Moderators are a position of trust, we need moderators who are commited to showing up and commited to the safe, judgement free environments we provide.
Everyone of our mods started exactly where you are, active engaged members willing to give back.

To apply: Use the /hub command and select Kady Bot option. Click the Become a discord mod button and fill in the form thoughtfully. We take our time to review applications and will reach out to applicants in due time.

Requirements for Partnership Application

1 - Firstly your server must be self sufficient. We will require you have an average of 80 active members at peak times validated by 60 days proven activity.

2 - Servers must also have a proven record of implementing Hub wide safety procedures spanning atleast 90 days.
These include:

• DM protocol [Level 15 lock or similar]
• Active safeword procedure
• Mandatory Aftercare procedure

And the The Hub non negotiables, including no financial compensation clause, no poaching, no illegal activity, allignment with Discord TOS etc all which are accessible through the /hub command.

3 - Owners and atleast 2 moderators from appyling server must be active in the hub and free of Hub moderation record for slander, mod abuse, 002, 003 and 005 violations. All staff must be hub verified. None of your staff must have a pending sanction in the hub.
4 - The server must have gotten no official warning from discord for misconduct.
5 - A 2 strikes -> jail -> Ban sanction system for moderation to enforce accountability and leave room for rehabilitation.

Perks for Partnership

1 - Advertisement of partnered server within the hub.
2 - Cross age verification from members of partnered server
3 - A custom jailing system for partnered server on our Beloved Kady
4 - Cross sanctions from applying server carrying over to the hub
5 - Access to newest hub tools and resources
6 - Boost support to raise/keep the applying server up level. ( For affiliates)
7 - Multiple Boosters in partnered server receive perks within the hub (for affiliates).

How to Apply

This process will take a maximum of 4 weeks.

The server owner will need to open a ticket in our Crypt server where partnership will be discussed, verified and a partnership agreement signed.

A 14 day period will then commence where implementation of Hub requirements as listed above can be quietly observed and verified.

We will then have a 30 day soft launch where we will announce you as an emerging partner.

The partnership process may be extensive but completion will grant invitation into a community that many call home. The safety of our members is paramount and we will ensure consistency for them when visiting anyone nested in our Hub banner.

Hub Partnerships

After considering and evaluating the current status of The Hub, We have decided that now is a good time to open The Hub to new partnerships and growth. For years, We have intentionally maintained a closed knit circle of servers, to prioritize ease of management, strong oversight and adamant commitment to our members safety, which has defined our community. This has allowed us to thrive in our structured spaces, Where education, consent and fun with likeminded peers is practiced. And Opening up for partnerships would mean more servers to look after and enforce protocols in, and because these servers wouldnt be "ours" there is only so much we can do. This fear along with the risk of having our members be exposed to unfair treatment, and structureless unsafe enviroments(that we would have encouraged them to join) have made us reticent to allow ourselves to partner with any other server.

However, Our hub has matured,We have come to realise there is incredible potential in broadening our reach. There are alot of amazing and dedicated kinksters out there, some of which own kink servers who share our passion for making and mantaining judgement free spaces like our Own. We are exited about supporting these allies in their growth, just as they inspire us. As such, Effective Immediately, The Hub is now officially open for partnerships.

Now we do not take opening the doors lightly, future partners will need to share our dedication to providing a safe and judgement free environment. Be accountable for their servers and show that they can meet the same safety requirements we have for our members.

We will have two categories of affiliate:

Partner - Trusted allies we will proudly advertise

And

Affiliate - Servers that will be inducted as extensions of the hub itself. They will be part of our Hub banner and we will consider them a part of ourselves.

If either status is for your server it will come with the following requirements:

• Open cross verification. Verification in a partner or affiliate server will carry across to The Hub and vice versa.

• Mandatory Hub wide banning, a ban from a partner or affiliate will carry over to The Hub and vice versa.

The Right to Consent

It’s come to our attention (because apparently it still needs spelling out) that some of us are having little trouble differentiating between "I'm not consenting to that" and "I'm being a brat". Let's clear the air on what constitutes bratting before we get out little feelings/dominance hurt.

All subs are expected to abide by the server minimum expectations, they are non négociable.
That means :
- Using at least the base honorific (Sir) every few messages.
- Greeting the rooms(Hello Sirs and subs) when entering the room
- Remaining respectful to Sirs
- Using full words, and anything else listed in the guide or pins.

Anything beyond that: kneeling on command, calling someone"Daddy Suprême Overlord", and any other requests, is optional consent territory. If a sub says "no thank you" (Politely), the correct response from a Sir is "Understood"- not "Come on, just this one time" or "No brats on this server"
Choosing not to consent is not bratting.
"But.. but.. you're a sub!"

Once someone has chosen not to consent to something, no one should push or persuade. Consent is respected always.

Declining a Sir request is not bratting unless it is either:
- Done disrespectfully (name calling, eye rolling, tongue sticking out, dropping of honorifics, "make me", arguing, etc)
- Something that was previously agreed to but is now purposely not doing without communication (remember consent can be withdrawn any time as long as it is communicated respectfully)
- Straight up Ignoring a server rule (for example, a Sir keeps reminding a sub to use honorifics, which is required by the server, but the sub continues to not use them)

If you, Sir or sub, have stated a boundary and another member tries to push that boundary or punish you for that boundary (including calling another member a brat if all they’ve done is respectfully communicate their consent or lack thereof), please open a ticket, rather than arguing in the chat, and staff will help resolve the issue with the zéro patience it deserves. When it becomes a fight in chat, you're both wrong.
Let's carry on with safe kinks, remember the first C in cnc is infact not silent and no is a complete sentence.

Our dear and esteemed members, it is with a heavy heart and trembling hands that I come to you with shaking news. We are dealing with a unpredecented crisis of unmatched magnitude. Recently, we had to ban someone for breaking the ask to dm rule. After their ban, they wished d*ath on some of our staff members but more importantly, reported our humble discord server to.... "the authorities". Recognising the immense legal and exsistential implication this threat poses, and after many sleepless nights consulting our top tier legal team(discord bots and an anxious hamster), we arrived to the most logical, sane and proportional response to this threat..
Therefore, effective imediately, we are shutting down the whole server.
We urge you to say your good byes to your friends, save your favourite memes and reread your favourite conversations one last time. Sadly, as a discord server, we cannot escape the long arm of the law, prompted by the justified ire of this banned genius.
It has been an honor serving you as your host, we will all miss you.
Please forward all further complaints and reports to "the authorities".

Accepting FRs and Talking to Strangers

The hub is regularly asked why we have a DM/FR policy that doesn’t allow for open DMs and similar, and so because we have seen an uptick of abuse in private spaces, we would like to take this time to remind everyone about internet safety.

Most of us here are good people, here for fun, community, building relationships. Unfortunately, some of us are not. And even more unfortunately, you don’t have a way of knowing who is who.

You are adults; we cannot control you, Infact we respect your freedom. But freedom is strongest when it walks hand-in-hand with wisdom. And wisdom asks questions.
we are urging you all to please not accept DMs and FRs from strangers (people you haven’t spent time getting to know more publicly in a server) - not because of our rules, but for your safety, and not just from our server, but others where maybe you have open DMs, or maybe you share no server and they just “found” you.

We know it sounds like fun. We know some of you like the excitement of getting into DMs with anyone, especially anyone who sends you a random kinky thought. But think of this: are you on an even playing field?

What if you don’t know that person, but they know you. What if that’s not their main account. Maybe they’ve been piecing together your every photo. Maybe they’ve been watching every single thing you’ve been saying for weeks, months, years on another account and compiling it into all the information they need to quickly pretend to be just who they need to be to fool and manipulate you specifically. Maybe they’re someone you already dislike choosing to try again under a new guise of anonymity.

When you accept DMs and FRs from strangers, you’re allowing someone you don’t know private access to you. Dangerous access. And just because you don’t know them, does not mean they don’t know you.

We are urging you all to be careful and scrupulous when giving access to yourself, even when it seems fun to do otherwise. Have fun, but be safe first.

And yes, Doms, we mean you too. Doms are not exempt from instances we know of people creating accounts to hide and manipulate armed with knowledge gathered elsewhere while pretending to be someone new who miraculously fits so well.
