Community Sharing Forum Proposal for Mods
Summary
CommunityOne Builders Help proposes adding a community sharing forum for mods and server owners to showcase servers and share ideas. Topics include role automation, poll and event ideas, mod openings, server formatting, security controls, and recommended bots. The announcement also suggests pinned combined request threads and mentions renaming channels and a possible subreddit to improve discoverability.
Itd be great to add a community sharing forum to allow mods and server owners to show off their servers or share ideas and resources to make the best server possible.
For example, role automation (like temp newcomer roles or active member roles), poll ideas, event ideas, mod openings, server formatting, security controls, bots that are worth adding (they cant all be CommunityOne ๐ซ ) etc etc.
(No probs if you dont like the idea, I've just been tryna get a mods server going for a while and I HATE adminning so Im hoping you will do it lol)
I think that's sort of what we wanted to do in this particular channel, but for whatever reason, people are using this for help about our bot. I've changed the name of the channels to see if people will find the place.... btw, we are also thinking of having a sub reddit
Polls related to server owners and mods would be a good addition i think too.....discord Polls always end though, open polls would be more beneficial
Event tread or channel for upcoming server events?
Last thing- free plus requests in one pinned thread rather than each request having its own post would be less annoying in this channel
